The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf

So I discovered this joint as the closest caffeine fueling station on a recent trip.

I'm kinda in the know when it comes to coffee, in case you didn't know....

Well, this place did it. I'm not going to tell you that they have the best coffee I've ever had, because they wouldn't let me make my own. And we all know mine is probably the best there is!

HOWEVER; They DO have the best freaking Iced Matcha I've had to date!!!! It was freaking delicious. And yes, I had at least one, every. single. day.....

Also, I had a friend confirm this claim if you were curious. You're welcome.

GO HERE AND GET A FREAKING ICED MATCHA!!! (dirty of course, is there another way...?)

Love this spot! Right by our hotel. Walked to get coffee and breakfast on our way walking to Disneyland. It was easy, convenient, and we had a great breakfast sandwich with delicious coffee and chai tea lattes! We will be back! I highly recommend! Staff was great!

Parking is horrible, staff are extremely rude, Chai had to be remade because I said no foam and they forgot. Second drink was good. Tastes better than Starbucks but, staff all had a cranky attitude. Don't work in a coffee shop if you don't like customer service.

I used to love coming to Coffee Bean over Starbucks because of how good and well made coffee drinks were. This Coffee Bean cafe really was a disappointment. The workers don't listen to you and constantly give you the wrong order. Today I asked for a regular coffee with half n' half and 2 Splenda on the side. They put the cream and Splenda on the side. I let it be and put it in myself. While I was mixing I found a piece of plastic in my drink.
I had another incident where I ordered two coffees and the coffees were made wrong and when I spoke to the manager he said, "I didn't make your coffee drinks. find out who made them and ask them." I don't believe that was a very management appropriate response to an issue. He should have been keeping track of his employees and orders from the customers.
I don't think I'm going back to Coffee Bean ever again because of this and several other experiences. I hope corporate sees this and hires better workers and management to get this place back the way I once was.

The grilled cheese is basically dry microwaved bread... I think there is cheese between the two slices? Can't tell. The coffee is ok but the staff is NOT friendly or helpful or welcoming or in any way in a customer service mindframe. Worst place to get coffee to start your day. The environment feels hectic and chaotic. The staff seem annoyed that you're there. The coffee is decent but the food is just plain awful. Can't recommend this place. 👎

I’m not a regular to this place but their cold brew coffee is very strong and has a bitter taste. If you like Starbucks’ cold brew, then you won’t like this one. Their coffee cake is not bad but I would definitely not order it again!

This place has created this nice mood for a chillax mood. The music is perfect and the setting is smart. I like the service too; the pm shift staff were friendly and hard-workers. Hats off for the customer’s service of this branch - well, it’s the closest one to DisneyLand so it gotta have good services.

In a nutshell, I recommend this place but not the cold brew coffee not the coffee cake. I may return one day and try their hot drinks with bagel or something. If you’re in the area, come to relax, sit back, and surf the social media. Or write a review about your experience :)

The actual coffee itself was enjoyable(Hazelnut Latte with Oat) but my experience was marred by a careless oversight by one of the staff members(in part due to the way the store is setup, so not entirely their fault).

Take care not to use their washroom unless you want them to opened in the middle of your stay because they cannot keep track of occupancy. To their credit they apologized, but they need to be far more careful in the future with other customers. It was a mistake but easily preventable with a system in place, I dont blame the specific staff member but I do put the establishment at fault for not having a system.

Good food. Excellent coffee. Very nice Vietnamese coffee. Right in side and the patio was locked, but it was ok.

Rudest staff ever. It was my sons birthday and he wanted a pumpkin spice ice blended. I ran in after buying drinks to get napkins because my daughter dropped her drink, and apparently the door didn’t close. One of the off duty employees started complaining about it loudly and wouldn’t shut up. She could have walked over and closed it in the whole 6 seconds I ran back in if she saw it and I didn’t:

No one asked if we needed help. I didn’t notice so I just ran over, grabbed napkins and closed the door behind me. Employees were looking at my daughter and I and laughing. Your lucky you have jobs. Disgusting behavior. Take some lessons how to make a drink correctly from the riverside store. You don’t even know what toppings go on what drinks. I’m sad I tipped, as it wasn’t worth it. Avoid this store. I work in hospitality and this isn’t it.

I got the iced cookie butter latte 10/10 .. the women who helped me was very nice and friendly as well. I was able to grab one of the four 20 min parking spaces thankfully
