The Hermit Road bike tour was a wonderful and efficient way to see all of the hot spots and views from the western part of the south rim. Lexi and Ryan were our tour guides and they were fun, knowledgeable and had great stories. If you only have a day in the park, this is a good use of the time and good value, especially when you realize the road back from Hermit’s rest is long and uphill and the shuttle buses are crowded.

Staff was super helpful from booking to riding and explaining possible routes. Great way to see more of the canyon while having fun getting around. You can't ride on the rim path but you can stop at any point and leave your bike to look around and walk.

Best staff.
They know what they are talking about with all of their products. From coffee to hiking gear.
Tons of little snacks and quick bites perfect for before, during and after a hike.
Great stop no matter what season it is
They have bikes and tours available.
You can rent for a week or a day.
Many great options for ways to get around and enjoy the park while you visit

Wonderful experience! Easy check in and return. We rented ebikes and actually got brand new ones. We are bikers, so we're able to ride to Yaki Point and Hermits Rest.
Unfortunately, no bells were on the bikes, and honestly, some pedestrians on the winding trails are oblivious to their surroundings. Obviously, we tried to politely yell, but bells would be nice!

Welcoming atmosphere, friendly crew. They were singing along to Michael Jackson and Bon Jovi while I was in there. Got the iced Chai latte which was very good. Great place to grab some food/water/Gatorade before setting out on the trails, as well as after finishing a hike to replenish. Highly recommended

Hands down this is worth every penny. We spent 5 hours biking and saw almost every point on the south rim on ebikes. Even though we bike we couldn't have covered this much ground as fast as we did on traditional bikes. It was awesome.

Had a great time e-biking around the rim. I would definitely recommend a e-bike over a regular bike if you're just out to enjoy the canyon. These are pedal assists bikes so you definitely still pedaling, just makes the hills easier.

My wife and I had a wonderful experience with Bright Angel Bikes. I snagged a delicious coffee (reasonable price for a park), and we did a half-day pass for biking. We had plenty of time to rode to Hermit's Rest and back! Would always recommend this experience to anyone interested.

We took the hermit road shuttle and really enjoyed our afternoon of biking the Southern rim. The bikes were well serviced and all of the Bright Angel staff are knowledgeable and helpful.

If you’re able to ride a bike and enjoy learning all aspects of the Canyon this is the route you must take! Z was a great leader and teacher. Fun, interesting and so beautiful.
