Okay this place is so convenient located at the visitor center! Super easy to book online. All of the staff is super friendly and fast. I got the hermit shuttle package. The bike was comfortable, all of the gears worked and had the ride down almost completely to myself. I left my bike at hermits rest and hiked to dripping springs. I highly recommend! I got to see a group of big born sheep on the shuttle ride up! Book it!

Terrific way to see the many beautiful views along the rim of the Grand Canyon. Everyone in our party enjoyed it, from the teens who rode regular bikes, to the older folks who appreciated the e-bikes. We rode the 22 mile round trip and finished content and accomplished! The roads, trails, and bikes were all well maintained. Highly recommended!

It's a decent place to grab ready-made breakfast sandwiches and more. They also sell stuff like jackets, things that you might have forgotten for your trip to GCNP. They have bikes for rent. The staff was friendly. They don't have dine in. However, they have benches outside the cafe where you can sit and eat.

The bike ride was fantastic! However, some of the staff were rude. Our special needs 9 year old had the great pleasure of getting scolded twice in less than 20 minutes. Once for touching a pile of helmets and another because he felt his seat was too low. Maybe everyone is overworked or stressed. Unfortunately our first memories of the ride will be the unpleasant 20 minutes at the shop prior to the ride.
That being said I would highly recommend renting and riding. Definitely one of the best parts of our trip.

Got to the park in the late afternoon and really need a quick bite before hitting the biking trail!

This was perfect! I hate to say it but I was pleasantly surprised to see veggies and cheese on it (I got a sandwich yesterday in Utah that was literally just ham on bread).

This was delicious and they also had a great selection of condiments, these all made this a great quick stop for us!

Biking Hermit Road was so much fun! The guys at the bike rentals were great and super helpful with directions and recommendations. 100% recommend renting bikes in the Grand Canyon here!

We rode the Hermit Road bike tour and it was AMAZING!!! The guides were so knowledgable, funny and friendly. The bike ride was fairly easy, and the bikes were in great shape. It was fun, the views were incredible and we not only saw parts of the Canyon we would have had to visit via shuttle bus, we got to learn history and get some fresh air and exercise. I have and would recommend this to anyone visiting the Grand Canyon!

The Hermit option was perfect for our family, which includes three kids ages 7-9. It was 3 hours total, lots of stopping for pictures and water breaks. It was just the right amount of challenge without being too frustrating or exhausting. The bikes were in great condition, comfortable helmets provided, and there's a great snack shop at the end of the ride, easy to get cold water and a sandwich.
We HIGHLY recommend!

The coffee and food were amazing! Fresh, simple and served with a smile.

We tried a vanilla latte and mocha. Both were great, not too sweet plus the espresso was great!

Food wise, we had almond chicken sandwich, chicken burrito and the veggie sandwich. The food was all made fresh and had great flavor. Highly recommend!

We wolfed down the food so fast that I couldn’t take pictures of the food 😅

Our first day at Grand Canyon we did a morning bike tour to get a feel for the look outs etc with a guide. Ryan was great and helped us with getting fitted for the bikes and explaining the bike and safety info. The bikes were well maintained and comfortable to ride, shift gears and brake. The bikes were loaded on a trailer and we were in a large van with 8 people to take us to the Hermit Road area. Duffy was our guide who was friendly and knowledgeable. We enjoyed his stories and conversations. We really appreciated him. We rode to each lookout and spent the right amount of time at each one. Definitely drink water at each stop, which he also encouraged.
The next day we came back and rented bikes that we took out ourselves with an easy to read map of the trails. Highly recommend seeing the canyon this way ! Easy to get to lookouts including Yaki Point and Bright Angel Lodge. Also stopped in the Hopi House. Riding along the rim was indescribable and thru beautiful landscapes, we saw elk and wild horses along the trails. Duffy helped us out this day too! A great experience !
