Good down home cooking. First visit. Will be going back

I wish they mentioned the pork chops were breaded, otherwise I enjoyed the meal and the service was good and quick.

Great menu options and cute atmosphere. Sets you up for a bit of a let-down. The food is nothing to sing about but okay, except the pie. If you're gonna do the diner vibe, you should have good pie. We order two different kinds. Both bad.

Honestly, the only thing holding me back from giving this place 5 stars is the food. It is not bad at all, but it isn't anything to write home about. The service is EXCELLENT. The food is solid, but nothing on the menu will surprise you or wow you. Blue Plate has a great atmosphere. Overall, a solid breakfast place that isn't your typical chain.

Would not order takeout again. Saw the reviews of this place forgetting items and low and behold, it stands true.

We came here based on the reviews, and we’ll definitely be back! The food was excellent, and our server was great. We arrived when the changeover to lunch was happening, and both the hostess and server explained that there would be a delay in getting our food which was fine with us, especially since we were able to get coffee right away. Highly recommend!

Went with coworkers for lunch, the food was not my style. I did people watch everyone else enjoyed their meal and was pleased with their service. For me I will pass. Not a place for non meat eaters . Yes the veggies are cooked with meat. I did a veggie plate corn, sweet potato casserole, mash potatoes, and macaroni. IF, IF there is a next time I'll do a garden salad, others looked pleased with their salad

We stopped for a bite to eat while trying new places on our travels. We both had the southern fried chicken tenders one of the Blue Plate Specials. With mine was the corn, Coleslaw, hash browns, corn bread with pink lemonade to drink. Ray was our server, he was very attentive, kind and thoughtful. The food was very good and filling. There was just the right amount. I would definitely be back when in the area.

Good place to stop for breakfast, I really liked the cheesy hashbrowns. My waiter was very friendly. Overall it was a good experience.

Service was great and fast. Our waitress was really nice.
