FILTER-Coffee Parlor

Stopped in for coffee while visiting town. Very charming place with great tasting coffee and nice selection of light bites. Sitting outside is great for people watching. Will definitely visit again.

The shop looks great and has all you would expect. I was there around 2:30 on Friday and it was full, not a seat left. Wish there was more seating available, perhaps more communal seating would be ideal as many single people were taking up tables. I love my coffee and am pleased there is a shop to walk to while at work, however the coffee is quite bitter. I ordered a latte and it was almost undrinkable for me. I'll probably try them again to see if it's just new shop problems.

The plain black coffee is good. You can get it in a mug if you're not on the go, so you can avoid waste if you're into that. The place is clean and inviting, with a bunch of tables upstairs where you can read or work or hang out. I saw posters for live music, but haven't been, so I don't know how it is. The bathroom is always really clean, which is nice.

Such a cool eclectic place. The staff are friendly and welcoming here. The live music is a plus. If you're looking for an off the beaten path coffee house, you've found it here. They have fresh pastries, teas, and coffees. Try the lavendar infused honey too. Parlor sums this place up nicely. You'll feel at home upstairs or downstairs. They even have board games upstairs! Don't shy away. It'll feel almost like your parlor at home.

Omg the chocolate mocha's are Devine. Birmingham try this place out it's amazing. The staff is not only super friendly, amazingly knowledgeable but they remember your order, name and treat you better than family. Please don't give Starbucks another cent this company has better coffee and treats and you will luv the friendly service. Guaranteed.

Excellent coffees and teas as well as backers and snack items and even better service! The owners are super nice and helpful as well. They sell local books and art and coffee/tea preparation items. One of my favorite local businesses for sure.

Great space in historic building, friendly staff but the espresso left a bit to be desired. Espresso was served in paper and tasted a bit over-extracted. Overall, shop is somewhere between second and third wave.

We strive to find coffee shops with pour over coffee AND vegan options, and this checks both boxes! We had the peanut butter bagel without honey, oatmeal, and a vegan item from the bakery case.

A&H bagel and Nutella latte were delicious. A little pricey but cool shop and friendly baristas.

Nice and quaint. It is true coffeeshop with poor overs and fresh coffee. It doesn't have White Chocolate or whip cream but has great syrups to choose from. The bacon frittata was very good.
