Pros: seating was nice, but no outlets.

Cons: hot latte was cold and frittata tasted like plastic. Way overpriced for the quality of food.

Pour-over coffee is their main thing, but don’t sleep on their espresso! It seems like so few shops nowadays understand how to properly pull a shot with medium- or light-roasted beans, but FILTER makes a beautifully balanced and extracted espresso shot.

Tucked away yet right in the center of 5 Points. I loved sitting in the window and watching everything go by. The shop is super cute and quaint. Nice and quiet too. It is a bit pricy, but the coffee choices are original. I got the Caffeinated Bee, and I would highly recommend it to any latte lovers out there.

They craft their own chai latte concentrate in house, and as I discovered this morning, it is delicious! The best chai latte I’ve had in a very long time. Nice atmosphere and friendly service. Will definitely be back.

Interesting coffee shop. They actually don't really have a lot of flavorings. They more so rely on the taste of the actual coffee. Bold choice, but I think it works. The coffee is really good and it stands on it's own.

Really nice place... the baristas are kind and friendly, the espresso is great, AND they're now making their lattes with organic milk! I got the pumpkin one with some vanilla bean added in this morning... VERY yummy. If you're getting it to go, bring your own mug for a discount (and because it just feels better; every little thing helps). Thank you guys for being here in Bham! 💛🙂

I sincerely enjoy this coffee parlor. It’s a great experience. Great customer service and a variety of coffee to chose from.

Great place. Coffee was great. Staff was friendly. Kahlua cake was very good.

Probably my new favorite Birmingham cafe. Great atmosphere to study and great drinks. LOVE that they use real dishes for eat in orders.

I'm wondering why this place isn't rated higher. Fantastic ingredients, great bulk coffee, consistently tasty espresso shots (seriously, that can be hard to find), and delicious sandwiches. Their food tastes very homestyle because it is, and the recipes are pretty impressive. I'm honestly unsure of how their prices are so low, all things considered.
