Currently sitting in the cafe writing this review. The food was just great and drinks are amazing. The waffles were soooo good and the avocado chicken bacon wrap was phenomenal. Highly recommend if you’re looking to show someone a good breakfast and lunch cafe!! Thanks for great service :)

This place is great. We came just before lunch time and there was so plenty of space. The waffles were delicious and came out quickly. Fruit was fresh and perfect. They have a dedicated vegan grill, so the vegans in our party were ecstatic. Waffles are $6-8 base. Vegan are $7.50. add ons range from $0.50 to $1.50. it's entirely worth it though.

The food here is very good, the only reason I didn't give it a higher score is its very disorganized. I went for breakfast and the person delivering food to the tables gave my wife and I the wrong order, then came back and gave my wife her order, then almost gave my sandwich away to someone else. We came back for lunch and despite repeating my order 3 times, one of the items I clearly ordered was missing from my order and my receipt. Nice people, but I feel like handing out trial samples of Adderall ever time I go there.

This is one of the best coffee spots for me. Great staff, cosy, unique space. Like to go here every day instead of SB. One star taken for plastic lids given even when ordering “for here”. Min effort to ask if i want a lid to generate more useless plastic garbage would help.

We ended up going there for lunch because it stated it was allergen friendly and our son has a milk and egg allergy. We looked online and one of the menus featured a few options for him. Upon arriving we found out that those options are actually no longer available and they had no lunch options for kids that are allergy friendly. The only option being a vegan waffle and there was only one vegan option for the bakery which was a brownie. We decided to leave. The food did look great but disappointed by the advertising of it and not actually being allergy friendly.

Cute place for a lunch date with the wife. I would suggest going before or after peak lunch time because the quaint, cozy feel means there's not a lot of seating and this place gets busy. If it's warm, sit outside, but if it's cold, it's a struggle. Service was great and the food was a step up from normal lunch venues, making it even better for a date.

Googled coffee shop near me and was pleased to find an independent place in the chain store desert of the far west side. Warm cozy place that smells of what must be amazing waffles, though I didn’t order them. I’ll be here every time I need coffee and or need to work on my laptop and have a lovely waffle.

I came in early in the morning to pick up some pastries on the way to work. I looked at what I wanted in the display case before going to the register. When I ordered my first pastry, the cashier told me they were out without checking. A coworker had to help find them in the display case. I ordered a second item and the cashier told me they didn't serve that, despite having a label for them in the display case. Again, a quick check of the case disproved that. He asked if I wanted the pastries warmed up, which I did, but didn't go directly to do that even though no one else was coming in. After a five minute wait, he put them in the microwave for 30 s before passing them over to me. Needless to say, they were cold and a weirdly damp. One had good flavors, but not enough to redeem the experience. I would not return.

The food was by far not what I expected after reading other reviews.
I had the quiche was very tiny , not very warm, and not very flavorful ! wouldn’t recommend it. The potatoes on the side were nothing extraordinary either. C- for the meal , the cafe was nice - staff were polite. But not a return in my future.

This place might have the best breakfast sandwich in Madison. The coffee was good, but nothing to go out of the way far. The service was friendly and timely. Would recommend if you're in this part of town.
