Simple Café

It seems this is definitely one of the hot spots in Lake Geneva, especially in the summer. There was a wait when we arrived; however, in less than 10 minutes, we were seated. We both had breakfast and I opted for the Classic Benedict with simple potatoes, more than I could eat. Delicious! they serve breakfast all day, which is good to know. They also serve lunch and are open till 3 p.m. daily. Also, my granddaughter who is 2 fit in nicely into their high chair and they gave her crayons to draw with, which she enjoyed. I gave a rating of 4 stars and not 5 because the temperature was a little warm; but then again every table was full so I guess it would be.

I had a great lunch here while my wife enjoyed two fantastic breakfast dishes. The service and food were both exceptional.

The restaurant was amazing. Staff actually acted like the enjoy their job. I actually went on my birthday with my twin sister, and they gave us a free coupon for cookies at their bakery, which was next door. 5 stars all the way.

My husband and I enjoyed a breakfast on the patio here and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! I got the frittata with fresh veggies and goat cheese. The goat cheese was bomb. We shared a pancake that was fluffy and flavorful. Prompt, friendly service topped off the experience. Just go!

Loved the local food selection and home made vibe. This place is a must go to for breakfast when in town.

saw this place online for breakfast and it got really good reviews. i googled ‘best breakfast in lake geneva.” my best friend and i came to walk around downtown for the day and stopped here in the morning first. this place has GREAT service and Great food! i had eggs and chicken sausage, potatoes and wheat toast. i will come back here again whenever i am in town.

This cafe makes me happy. Its food is beyond incredible, and the staff goes above and beyond to meet customers needs. At the simple cafe my favorite dish was the Panang Curry. I could eat this for days. The whole place is colorful and cute in the most adorable ways. Their Outdoor seating is even more perfect!! Visit the bakery if you have a chance- try a fruit tart! Out of this world!
