Simple Café

Had a very frustrating attempt at having breakfast here. In this time of many restaurants being short staffed things are run a little different but just BE UPFRONT, HONEST and respectful of your customer's time and want to spend money at your place of business. We went in for breakfast on a Sunday morning, expecting a wait. They said 20 minutes. Several tables were open and the bar was wide open (only 2 stools in use) so I figured that was accurate. We asked for first available or the counter as that was part of the wait list too. 30 minutes later I check on our wait time seeing that NO ONE had yet to be seated at the bar, to which I get the response of- our wait times have changed, we are no longer seating customers because the kitchen is backed up. That's extremely frustrating as a customer to then not be told how long this extra wait would be. Also, why not seat people still, I would have happily just sat at the bar and enjoyed a cup of coffee. 50 minutes later, they called for table! By then we left as a very frustrated customer. I will come back and hope I have a better experience next time.

Always a great experience with fresh food and a bright atmosphere. Large portions, too!

The eggs Benedict is one of the best in Lake Geneva. My daughter loved the strawberry rhubarb pancakes although the portion was so big we had to being some home for her brother. Our service was great and the coffee was always full and very good.

Quite possibly the best breakfast I’ve ever had.

The first time I ever ate at Simple was at least 5 years ago. The food was amazing then and still was when I came here again with family more recently. The service was wonderful and I was so happy they allowed dogs on the patio so that our pup could join us!
During our last visit I forgot my bag at the table on the patio and didn't realize it until I was home, about an hour and a half away. When I called I was told that they had it, and would ship it home to me! I am extremely grateful for their kindness! Truly exceptional when it comes to service. Thank you Stephanie! My family and I highly recommend Simple and can't wait to go back!

I ordered the quinoa bowl and the simple breakfast. Tons of vegan/vegetarian options. Nice outdoor seating. Fresh food.

It was quite busy around noon when we got there, but only about a 10 minute wait. We ordered right away. We got our food fairly quick but my order of simple eggs and bacon was wrong. I received ham instead and not wanting to make a big deal of it I decided to eat it. Unfortunately my meal was warm at best. My wife enjoyed her fritatta and my granddaughter enjoyed her Korean breakfast bowl. I guess the easiest one was the hardest to make.

Excellent service! Always busy and yet food is brought out in a timely manner. Unique breakfast and lunch plates. Many super healthy options! Clean place! Tasty food!

Great menu, love all the vegetarian options. Service was very good too on such a busy Saturday. We will be back :)
