Simple Café

Excellent breakfast all around. The coffee was delicious and just strong enough. No espresso machine so if you want a latte stop by another place. You do not want to miss the food here though. My husband had the chorizo omelet which was very tasty and filling between it, the potatoes, and the toast. My son had the kid's pancake breakfast and finished the whole thing. I had the breakfast tacos and they were the perfect breakfast tacos. They were flavorful and filling. Will definitely be back next time we are in LG.

We're only in town for a weekend, and usually we want to try as many places as possible, but we'll be coming back! It was nearly impossible to narrow down what we wanted because everything on the menu looked amazing. Joanna was a great server and took good care of us, and service was seamless even though the place was packed. Don't miss it!

Incredible food and outstanding service. Everyone is so kind and polite, and the owner makes you feel right at home. Also, I highly recommend the Colectivo coffee.

Food was excellent, regardless of your dietary needs. They remade our entire meal, free of charge, when we realized it was not cooked vegan. Highly recommended stopping by!

Not sure what the hype is here. Tried to come on the weekend and the wait was an hour so we came back to try it midweek. The lunch menu only has seven items which include soup and salad. They wanted to charge us full price ($4.50) to sub a short stack for potatoes when the price difference on the menu is $0.55. Their AC was broken but they didn’t warn you when you came in nor did they offer any explanation until you asked. Food was ok. Omelette was a small (maybe two egg) with three ingredients that you could get anywhere. Our favorite part was the multigrain toast and jam.

Wait staff were amazing! Food was yummy and they are doing a great job with spacing/outdoor seating in this crazy time!

The place had a very short wait, very clean and open! The menu was simple and very straight forward. We couldn't decide so we all ordered something different, and rotated our plates! The staff was fun, the food was AMAZING! We will be back!

Hubs and I went on a sunny Saturday and ordered the bbq Korean bowl and the Reuben. Very fresh tasting food and excellent service. Yamila was our server and she was prompt, friendly, and upbeat. Be sure to ask for her!

Our third time in a row that our order was WRONG. Three of us.
Our server was named after a flower cannot remember her name. Came and asked twice if we wanted fruit instead of potatoes. We said fruit. We got our plates with potatoes. She seems out of it. The gentleman at the table next to us asked her if she went out last night. Lol. She got his order wrong also. Supposedly she's been there for 3 years. No one came to apologize. No one manager came over. Last time the table next to ours said the Brussel sprouts were still cold. (partially frozen)
Oh by the way $14 omelette she made it sound like the toast and pancakes came with it and then charged us $4 each never said about up charge.
Over $20 per person with a cup of coffee. You expect good service and good food at that price.

Great food, wonderful alternatives to the typical breakfast. Friendly, vibrant place.
