Simple Café

The while experience of Simple was the best from our trip here in Lake Geneva. They are fully staffed so the service is wonderful. The interior is bright and invigorating with lots of natural sunlight. We started with some coffee, and ended up having to buy a back from the Simple market and bakery next door because it was some of the best we have had. Our waitress was happy to talk with us about the best food on the menu based on what was in season and took the time to tell us about where some of the ingredients were sourced. Everything on the menu is under $10, but easily worth more. We had the Quinoa and Corn fritters, Turkey and Sweet corn omelet and split a short stack of blue berry pancakes. All breakfast dishes come with fresh potatoes which beat plain hash browns ten times over. We are forever in love with Simple.

Good food but very lousy service. The waitress walked by me repeatedly and never stopped to fill drinks... each and every time I had to flag her down and it was like I was a bother to her. Other wait staff just standing around so it wasn’t like they were overly busy. It’s a shame because it was a neat environment and the food really was exceptional and fairly priced. I may give them one more chance....but they need to get their act together with their waitstaff.

New Years day with a party of ten was tough to find a place that would take us. Simple Cafe came through. After a 45 minute wait they called us and with only a half hour before they closed, went ahead and seated us. Amazing menu with creative choices and very friendly staff.

Delicious healthy food. The asparagus mushroom soup was amazing! Loved it

First time coming here and I’m upset it took me so long! The menu changes subtly with the seasons. Quality and healthy food options. The facility was very clean and organized. The staff was harmonious and extremely friendly. I ordered the Corned Beef Hash with eggs my way. They use Colectivo coffee too. 100% will be coming back here :)

Was recommended to come to this place, and it was so worth it. The food is fresh and delicious. Everything on the menu looks mouth watering. The service was friendly and speedy. The atmosphere was fun, with plenty of natural light.

Tourist customer beware. There are meter maids watching. Street parking in the downtown area is paid parking ($4/hr) even on Sunday. And if you are slow on the QR code by mere minutes (heavy snow, wet phone), the meter maid cometh. And she will have that $50 parking ticket on your windshield in a weird side-by-side race to the finish. So, if you are budgeting for your meal, be sure to add fifty dollars to the total or be prepared to Superman that parking meter! The more you know…

My husband and I love Simple. The food is always delicious and the staff is always great. Their corned beef hash is one of the best items on the menu!

Go early as there will be a wait if you go later in the morning and at lunch.
