Simple Café

Our server Stephanie B. was absolutely GREAT! She was so friendly and cheerful and had great recommendations for our dining experience! The mushroom Gruyere onion burger and simple potatoes were amazing and so fresh tasting. My husband had the pulled pork and cheese grits and loved his dish as well. So glad we found Simple Cafe! Thanks Stephanie for making our experience so pleasant😊

Limited menu, mostly breakfast, a few sandwiches — but high quality food. First time I ever had Eggs Sardou, and it was delicious. They also had mashed potatoes for an ingredient to add in omelets, so very unique.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating. They do not take reservations so one person in our party of 12 went early to get our name in. It was about an hour wait on a weekend at lunch for that many, but they accommodated and pushed tables together, even though it is a small-to-medium sized space.

Parking is hard during tourist times.

Lovely little bakery, delightful breads and regional items. The restaurant next door also seemed very nice, but we wanted a light pastry and a coffee. Fast and friendly, warm environment, and very good pastry and cookies. I thought the cookies looked crisp, but they were soft and perfect - the lemon really stood out without being overpowering. The croissant and some regional thing that looked like a top hat were light and airy and delicious. A must try.

Great experience at Simple Café, delicious food, was a 30 min wait but definitely worth it. Meanwhile, outside of the bakery they gave us croissant samples and cold brew coffe! Very kind and super nice people working there. Our server was very friendly! Forgot her name but she was super nice. You won’t regret coming here and wait a little bit 🙂

Went here for Valentine’s day brunch — I ordered the mashed potato omelette and my partner ordered the Korean BBQ bowl. Both of these were amazing! The service was also super fast and friendly. Would recommend!

Loved this cafe while visiting. Fantastic coffee and a quick service kitchen. Great spot if you want to sit outside or have a seat at the counter. Fresh great quality food, I had the apple cinnamon French toast.

What a great menu. I got a tofu scramble that was very flavorful (almost Indian-inspired in spice profile), served on a cakey piece of ancient grain toast with hummus. The roasted potatoes side was delicious: crispy just so and not overly oily. The coffee was strong and fresh. Our waitress was very hospitable, professional, and attentive. Finally, the atmosphere was very calming, a minimalist aesthetic that really matched the wholesome and sincere menu. Overall, highly recommended. What a great place.

My best friend and I had breakfast here two times in one weekend! The cafe uses fresh ingredients and high-quality ingredients to create yummy dishes. There is a good variety of healthy breakfast options and the portions are generous. They like to use a lot of fresh veggies and also offer traditional breakfast favorites like French toast or eggs Benedict. Service is prompt and friendly. It can get very loud in the cafe. A bright little restaurant with great service. Their website says they source ingredients seasonally and locally. Korean bowl and the apple french toast were really good.
