Review of Turtle Coffee

Turtle Coffee: A Local Gem for Coffee Lovers

Turtle Coffee is a cozy coffee shop located in the heart of Seattle, Washington. The coffee shop is open seven days a week, with varying hours depending on the day. The shop offers a wide variety of coffee drinks, including lattes, mochas, and dirty chai, as well as tea and hot chocolate. The coffee is brewed to perfection, and the shop's baristas are friendly and knowledgeable about their craft.

The atmosphere inside the shop is warm and welcoming, with plenty of seating options for customers to choose from. The shop has a fireplace in the middle, which adds to the cozy ambiance. There is also a kids' table, making it a great spot for families to enjoy a cup of coffee together.

Turtle Coffee is also known for its delicious homemade pastries, including scones, cookies, and Nordy bars. The food menu also includes sandwiches, such as the pesto sandwich, which is a customer favorite.

While the indoor atmosphere is welcoming, some customers have noted that the outdoor area is not as pleasant due to the presence of run-down RVs with the smell of urine. However, this does not detract from the quality of the coffee and food inside the shop.

Overall, Turtle Coffee is a local gem that offers great coffee, delicious food, and a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It is a must-visit spot for coffee lovers in Seattle.

The definition of a neighborhood gem - the lady behind the counter (possibly the owner?) was incredibly nice, and had just baked a few extra scones for the afternoon. The cranberry orange scone was magic, and the dirty chai was great as well. It's a great space with a friendly vibe. One of the tables is also large enough for a larger group (there are smaller tables as well), and they have some boardgames to play by the pickup counter near bathroom hallway. I live on the eastside, but won't hesitate to make the drive over here.

Best white mocha I’ve ever had. Lady behind the counter was incredibly sweet as well this is a local gem shop , recommend to anybody looking for extra good coffee. Local business at its finest

The food is good but the coffee is an acquired taste. The coffee can be a bit bitter and not as smooth as other coffees at other locations. The indoor atmosphere is welcoming but the outdoor run down RV's with the smell of urine is not so pleasant.

Everything was great here from the food to the ambience to the employees! This was my first time here and I'll totally be visiting again.

I had the turtle latte and the pesto sandwich and both were delicious!

Great coffee and working crowd. The fireplace is very cozy and the free books for reading are good. The staff is super friendly. Made me feel at home.

I had the peppermint mocha and nordy bar, both really good! I was trying to get to the McDonald's next door but I'm so glad I ended up here instead.

Starbucks closed their grocery kiosk where I work. Had to find some coffee and Turtle was down the street. The coffee was straight over the top delicious! And home made baked goods. So glad I stumbled upon them.

We were back in town after moving away, and Turtle Coffee was right across from our Airbnb. I'm so glad we stopped by! Not only was the coffee great, but the house-baked pastries were delicious and fresh!

My kiddo was immediately drawn to the kids' table, and she loved chatting with Sally. We had such a great experience that we came back the next day, and Sally even remembered my daughter's name!

Such a great place.

Cute place, I love the atmosphere and setup of the space, and the staff is always friendly. Spacious with a fireplace in the middle. I’m not always an adventurous eater and I’m vegetarian, so I love the double cheddar breakfast sandwich. The coffee is good too.

Their breakfast sandwiches are yummy! I got the pesto feta and tomato on English muffin and their turtle latte. Their breads (pumpkin, banana) are also super yummy 😋 highly recommend. There's plenty of parking space too!
