My family stayed at Icicle Village for four nights in February and loved it. We were part of a larger group that stayed in several rooms/condos. The kids loved the heated outdoor pool and hot tub. The complimentary breakfast was excellent with some great hot food items from eggs and hash browns to French toast and waffles - it was a perfect start before heading out skiing each morning. Walking distance to town and several nearby restaurants. Staff was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to go back!
First off, the staff is super friendly - top notch! Great service! The place is clean and well kept!
The stars are knocked off for the following:
1. The food on premises is gross. We were there for a work meeting and spent an extra day there. Every meal we had there was terrible. Honestly, the pre made meals at Safeway down the street were better. All four members of our group were grossed out by the food. Thankfully, our room had a refrigerator and we were able to buy food at the grocery and be just fine.
2. The weight room had no air conditioning (it was broken), and the room is in disrepair and smells.
3. While my kids enjoyed the pool immensely, they did notice parts of it where peeling off. I get this happens, but it sounds like it needs some repair as well.
4. Beds are HARD! I like firm mattresses, but Jeesh!
Would I stay here again? No, I’d try other options first. Again, the staff is great, the cleanliness is fine, but it doesn’t make up for the overall stay experience.
Bed was great, paid too much extra for the fireplace which didn't work. Staff was mostly friendly except the front desk employee who gave my wife some attitude over the phone. Would consider staying again but will probably check other locations in town before Icicle Village Resort again. The restaurant is awesome however.
For the price of the room, deluxe king suite with Mountain View, price was horrible! You couldn’t see the mountains because there was a tree blocking, no balcony! Pros: very comfortable king bed Cons: small room, no Mountain View, no bathtub, hospitality was ok $400+ a night…way too much!!
Great stay. We stayed in the condos. They let us check in early.Had a few issues but they got resolved rather fast Great free breakfast! Hot tub and pools are nice. I like that they text you once you arrive. And you are able to text questions or concerns with a response in a timely matter
The breakfast was great. Aspen condos are nice and quiet but old and several things were broken or didn't work. Great location. The Alpine Spa is AWESOME. A bit pricey for the condos. If you want to enjoy a relaxing getaway do not stay in the hotel side, grab a condo or suite. Private and quiet. No room service. Beds are comfy. Spa bath is great.
Found this little gem on VRBO and will definitely go back. Just a half mile from town, and an easy walk. The pool was a great way to end the day. There's a covered picnic area which is perfect for a large group, or a family. Already planning our next trip with a group of friends.

Great fun for the kids and the pool and hot tub were plenty warm even at 9 degrees!

I am 19 years old, can I check in the room by myself? Since I couldn't find the email, I had to ask here. Hope you will answer me
