Most things are fresh about this hotel. Accommodating and friendly staff, super cool location. We have glide between 4-6 and they loved the pool. However we asked to move rooms after our first night because of how loud the rooms next to us were until 12-1 am. We thought this was a one off so they transferred us to a different room and the rooms around us were exactly the same. We could here every movement from people walking around their rooms. It was not a pleasant experience. Which is unfortunate because everything else was great
It was a nice little hotel. Wouldn’t call it a resort by any means. The pool and hot tub were nice. The rooms were a decent size but the floors were covered in sand? Everything felt sandy. Walls are very thin lol. The in house restaurant was closed on Monday and Tuesday and the Alpine Spa was also closed on Tuesday so unfortunately we couldn’t try any of that out since we were there on those nights.
This is a subpar hotel. During our 2 day stay not a single staff member smiled or had a welcoming personality. The rooms were most definitely not large and could have used a little maintenance. My picture shows how tight of a spot the bathroom is. Getting in and out of the potty or shower was very uncomfortable. The water pressure was great and warm yet the pool was quite cold and the hot tub was barely bathtub warm. The hotel all around was noisy. We heard every noise and word from the connecting room through the door, especially when they were in the bathroom. Our phone rang multiple times in the middle of the night. Families and groups were playing and yelling going up and down the hall in the late hours- not that the hotel can really help this but shows the walls are just too thin and not built well enough for sound proofing. The hotel is lack luster, even with their Christmas decor, which made us all quite sad expecting a wonderful Christmas experience.
The resort is in a great location, very walkable. Front desk staff did a fine job. We were looking forward to a relaxing weekend and really wanted to like this resort, but would not stay here again. Our first night was in a room near the side entrance and we were woken up throughout the night every time that door slammed shut. In addition, the king bed was past due for needing a new mattress, very uncomfortable. They kindly accommodated our request to move rooms. The second night was quieter, but the queen beds were even worse, no cushioning and deep indents, haven't slept on a mattress that uncomfortable since college. Like many things recently, it's like the price has gone up but the quality has gone down, paying for more but getting less. The WiFi was slow and had a difficult time with streaming. The toilet paper was like sandy tissue paper. Bedding and bathroom towels felt old and scratchy. Overall this was my least comfortable hotel stay in many years, and I typically book Best Western at half the price.
Rooms were average for said price. (We paid $250 a night) the staff was nice and helpful. My biggest gripe was location. It is about a mile from the actual downtown area of Leavenworth. If that doesn't bother you it's a comfortable stay with decent commodities. The views outside of the windows are non existant
For a place that calls itself a resort and charges almost $250 a night for a room You would think maybe they'd put a little money back into their business. They're so called game room or arcade room is A150 year old pacman machine 1/4 actual size shuffle board table with no powder so the pucks wouldn't slide And one child size football table with a broken handle that you couldn't use. And the continental breakfast fair at best Was a nice experience but definitely would not stay there again
I was really excited to visit Leavenworth and stay at this resort. I got there early and was told my room wasn’t ready. The lady at the front desk implied my room would be ready within a few hours. I went to the town and had a lot of fun. Then it’s late afternoon and my room still isn’t ready. I went back in town for an hour and a half. My room still wasn’t ready. Meanwhile a handful people just arrived and got their rooms. I then asked if I could cancel my reservation and not get charged the penalty since my room isn’t going to get ready anytime soon and they said “No”. It’s obvious they are understaffed and the cleaning staff is mismanaged. I was shocked by how rood the lady at the front desk was to me. If you stay at resorts and are used to amazing service, then you will be very disappointed with place. The staff ruined my trip and wasted my money by staying here for the night. Get a room here at your own risk!
$9000 for our family to stay here for 5 days and we will not be back. For being a resort, start by cleaning the rooms daily like your basic hotels (and ALL resorts) tend to do. Refusing to clean or replace towels until our stay is over and after we check out is the biggest joke I’ve ever heard of. Secondly, get a new restaurant host manager. I don’t know her name but the older lady (older than any of the other hosts, anyways) with dark hair is v e r y rude. Her sorry - not sorry - attitude is repulsive and uncalled for, especially when patrons are nothing but friendly to her. It was honestly really hard not to be snide back to her. If you don’t like your job - Quit. Third - We spent another $600 in the spa. My massage by Megan was great, the massage for my husband and Mom were decent. The spa music stopped playing midway into my mom’s massage and the girl just kept apologizing even though my mom didn’t mind at all so it just wasn’t very relaxing after that. Also we paid for hot stone add on to her massage which she did not receive. Lastly, they have 1 single washing and drying machine for all of the resort to use. It only takes quarters. It’s 2022, not everyone carries loose change around. They won’t give you quarters for your $1 bills…… Lol. I’m done complaining now, this place just isn’t worth the money and we would never stay here again. Go to Post Hotel instead, that’s our next stay!
The room was nice and larger than I imagined. I enjoyed the large jetted tub and fireplace. We had a nice mountain view. The breakfast buffet was disappointing. I was glad they had hot options, but the food was low quality, overcooked, and bland.
Definitely exceeded our expectations! Very dog friendly, in fact the most dog friendly place I’ve ever stayed in. They included treats, waste bags, food and water bowls, and a couch cover. Mini golf was a lot of fun and the pool and hot tub are nice too.
