Sclafani's New York Bagels and Bread

Entry closed, but a sign directs patrons to phone order. Credit cards or exact change. When order is ready, it is set on an outdoor table with order number clearly written on bag. Pickle up, or outdoor attendant brings order to car. Once ordered, service was prompt. Breakfast Bagles were fresh and tasty, with good sausage patty. One order was a bit heavy with salt. The other was perfect. The lox bagel is to die for. So many styles the selection is difficult.

I went to this place based on the great reviews it had. I was extremely disappointed and would not recommend this place. It being my first time I was not greeted and had no idea where to place my order or who to talk to. The cashier gave me my change and threw my receipt right in the trash as if I didn't want it. I got 3 bagels. One of which was a pb & j for my daughter. It took long enough to get the first two bagels and even longer for the kid bagel! The sausage on my bagel was COLD, the cheese not melted then to top it off all 3 bagels were hard as rocks!!!!!! I will not be returning.

We use curbside pick up several times a week. Staff is always friendly and courteous. Not to mention efficient. I can email in an order at 805 and I have received a confirmation call within 5 minutes. My order is always ready when I hit the store around 830.

I just wish they were open seven days a week.

Literally the best local bagel shop you will ever visit. I go on average 2/3 times a week and have never been disappointed. All their staff are very friendly and even have gone above and beyond to recognize my name and grow a relationship with me as a customer.

Finally, great NY bagels in the Valley. Arguably the best bagel in NOVA and MD. The atmosphere is what you would expect and very reminiscent of a NY shop. Service is top notch and the owner/master bread maker will answer any question you can imagine about the bagel making process. Make sure the kids hunt for the chocolate treasure...and pay with a kiss to mom or dad when they finally find the bounty. Be prepared to wait during the typical grazing times...you be happy at first bite!

Large New York style bagels. Smoked salmon was a bit pricey, but fresh and delicious. 4 stars because as much as I love cream cheese it's the first time I had to scrape some off to even taste the smoked salmon. Ask for the cream cheese on the side...lesson learned.

Clean and spotless establishment, with quality food to boot. I am proud to support a business who unashamed of their faith.

Having grown up in NJ, it was difficult as a transplant to this area to find a place with truly "New York style" bagels. These bagels at Sclafani's are the real deal in size and taste - real flavor, unlike Panera or Dunkin'Donuts. What a find. Fantastic pricing, too! They have great crumb buns so I'm told, by a close friend... definitely recommend this place. I can't wait to try their other food!

I am always surprised when I mention Sclafani’s and people haven’t been there! It is the absolute BEST place to buy bagels! I love going in there and watching the whole bagel making process! It is a labor of love that pays off big time with each bite! You gotta go there!!!! Always fresh and delicious!

So very expensive. I don’t mind paying for good food but this is getting outrageous. On top of the high prices they just invent BS charges.
Please explain what a “checkout fee” is ?????
