The husband and I were visiting the area and wanted some brunch. When you walk threw the door you're greeted by smiling faces. They have an amazing drink menu. I ordered the four berry smoothie and the hubs got the Red Eye coffee, we were blown away by the quality in the ingredients. They even asked what roast he wanted. Got the blueberry French toast and it was DELICIOUS. Over all an amazing experience. Will definitely be coming back. If you love quaint little mom and pop places you must visit here!

The atmosphere here is amazing. Great service as well. I only stopped in for coffee but I can’t wait to return for breakfast or lunch the menu looks delicious and the place is so darn cute!

Wife and I love going to Java Jack's, great food and happy staff. The restaurant is inside and old house, that has character. It is amazing the amount of food they can cook on their small flat top..highly recommend!!

The waitresses were all super nice. We stopped by in the middle of a long drive with our dogs and sat outside. Food was ready quickly and tasted delicious!

We came here on our road-trip down from New York and Washington DC and were desperately looking for a small restaurant with local charm. Though from the outside the little pink house might not look like anything special, we were pleasantly surprised when we came in. The staff was great and the interior was nostalgic. They serve the best pancakes I have had in in the US so far and their fried pastries called "Jacks" are definitely worth a try.

Everything on their breakfast menu is tasty but their pancakes are the best that I've ever had. They grind their own coffee as well including a delicious southern pecan flavored offering. The prices are inexpensive, the food is always fresh, and the staff is always friendly. If you've never been to Java Jack's, you simply have to try it.

The food is ALWAYS GREAT AND SO IS THE COFFEE!! But What keeps me from giving a higher star rating is the service. Since COVID19 the service is lacking. I ask for extra sugar an cream I get 2. I had to ask 3 more times for her to get it right. And I don't know but when you say you need extra extra that should tell you that we needed more then 4 packs of sugar. Other then that yes food is very good.

We've been to Java Jack's many times and it was always fantastic! We decided to start 2021 with the best breakfast in Virginia so headed to Java Jack's. What an incredible DISAPPOINTMENT! First our waitress Blair was so busy talking at the counter she couldn't be bothered with refilling our coffee so another waitress did. Second two of our meals were served and it was stated by Blair that the third would be right out . It didn't come until we nearly finished the first two. Third, my potatoes were cold, not cool, cold and the other waitress checked on us and brought more potatoes that were warm. Fourth when the third meal finally arrived ( steak and eggs ) the steak was to tuff to chew. Fifth, when we asked Blair for more salt, she argued with us and said there were salt packets on the table and proceeded to go thru the trash only to realize that in fact all of the packets were empty. I've never had to argue with a server anywhere to get an additional salt packet. Blair was rude and mean. Needless to say after that the service from Blair was deplorable. The other waitress saw the uneaten steak, inquired and was told it was not possible to chew it, and the owner came by apologized and credited the bill. I am 70 years old and this is only the second time in my life I refused to leave a tip because Blair didn't deserve one. I haven't eaten at Denny's across the street since I discovered Java Jack's, but I guarantee it will be a blizzard in Hell before I go to Java Jack's again. I truly lay the entire horrendous experience on Blair, if I owned the place she would be fired immediately.
