Java Jacks Cafe

This is the perfect little spot for breakfast or lunch. We enjoyed lunch with coffee, but the food was delicious and service was superb. We will certainly stop again, hopefully when it’s warmer and we can enjoy the outdoor seating area.

My first visit was great! Service was spectacular, the potatoes were inedible, my omelet was good, & I will return! Those jacks, OMG!

This friendly restaurant was preparing for their 3pm closing when we walked in five minutes until 3pm. They were most friendly and agreed to feed us. It was a great meal and truly appreciate the outstanding service we were provided. We will return again, this time well before 3pm!

Always great, went there again today (10-15) Natalie, our waitress was so kind and one point with her service. The food was great. The Southern Pecan coffee, my favorite, was amazing, I been thinking about it all week.

My son and I went there for lunch. Cute little place that's not crowded. Just a small joint. Food wasn't anything spectacular, but we ate it all. Just a nice lunch meal. Our waitress was awesome and stayed on top of her job. She even handled the grumpy old man sitting behind us well. You walk in and choose your own seat. Great menu to pick from. Coffee was good and hot. I would go back!

Incredible gem in Tappahannock! Love the southern country porch setting, food was awesome, staff friendly and efficient. I plan to go back next time I am in Tappahannock

Very disappointing. Not sure if it was because I'm an out of towner, but the service was nothing short of abysmal. I'm usually a 100 to 200 percent tipper, but service was so bad, that I just couldn't leave anything. Ignored while others who were seated after me got their food. One of the worst service experiences in recent memory. 24 year veteran who has dined all over the world. It was not overly busy. This could be a case of me just getting the wrong server, but really. Deplorable.

Quaint setting, great breakfast menus. The jack cakes remind you of something? (NOLA) yep they're like that. :P Great service, delicious food. In the area? Stop here.

What a great place! Staff is very friendly. Food was great, eggs cooked to order! Will stop by again if I'm in the area.
