Blue Ridge Cafe & Catering

Went in at 7:45pm…we were seated within a minute on the non-smoking side. Cozy environment! Bar side was super busy. After being seated we waited for 15 minutes…watching staff enter the kitchen and come out of the kitchen. The lady that seated us had even passed our table and entered the kitchen and returned several times. After 15 minutes nobody had checked on us…offered to take our drink orders…nothing. We could hear others coming Intro the restaurant for dinner and we’re being seated on the bar side. Unfortunately due to service, or lack of, we did not stay. We had been here before pre-COVID and had a great experience. Hopefully in the future if we attempt to dine here again it will be better.

We really enjoyed eating here. The food was great, try the Chicken Fried Chicken, it was awesome 😃 They have an outdoor patio so we could bring our pup ❤️

I like going different places to eat and this was a place I had never been to before but had been told a lot about it and I was very satisfied with the location and how this presentation was and their food was delicious along with you very friendly customer service and I would highly recommend going there if I were you because they definitely have plenty to choose from and I'm sure you will enjoy yourself and I plan on going back myself.

The New England Clam Chowder was outrageous. Might be tough to find better in the Charlottesville area. The crab cake sandwich was good, not great. Overall very pleasant meal

Tess is an excellent waitress. She exemplifies customer service. Her friendly conversation and courtesy is much appreciated. She makes you feel welcome and like family. The food is always great and the staff is more than willing to accommodate you -- even to the point of changing the channel on the monitor nearest you so that you can enjoy your selected program which happened to be the rodeo. Thanks Blue Ridge Cafe -- you're the best that Ruckersville has to offer!

We like everything about the restaurant. Wide variety of dishes, friendly and prompt service, great food with good portion sizes, convenient location, and we have never had to wait to be seated. I have never been in the bar, but I like how it is separate from the restaurant seating area. Love the Monte Cristo!

3 people and everyone's meal was a disappointment. The quality and presentation was not what we've come to expect from the BRC. The service was slow, but the waitress did everything that she could. She was great.

Service was fine but waited a little long for food. Nice place. I ordered a hamburger and it was great! The fries were delicious. Others in my party ordered 12 wings and they were good. Some slight changes and this place would be great.

Great place for a Thanksgiving Day celebration. Food is good, but be warned - lines are long initially.

Food was good a nice quiet atmosphere in the dining area and it had a sports bar attached with lots ofnpeoplenin it. My only issue was I had to go walk around to find someone to seat us after waiting for awhile at the door
