Words cannot express the gratitude to Sue and her staff at Blue Ridge Cafe and Catering for the delicious meal that was the talk of all of our guests at our wedding rehearsal dinner! The Blue Ridge Chicken, Steak, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans and Salad was 5 star quality! I would highly recommend if you are looking for a caterer for hot, delicious food!

Very pleasant atmosphere, friendly staff. I had the Captain's Platter which consisted of fried shrimp (6), a generous portion of fish( not sure what kind and needed a little more seasoning, a nice sized crab cake( could have done with some lump crab meat and less filler), french fries and coleslaw. Overall the meal was good, no major complaints. Would I recommend this establishment to others, yes. Would I dine here again, of course. The price was very reasonable.

First time ever being here the food was very good the price was very reasonable definitely hard to spot off the highway unless you have a gps or I the passenger seat. The waitress was very sweet came and checked on me often. Does have a bar and outdoor seating. Definitely bringing my family.

Got a burger for take out. It was cooked perfectly medium. Onion rings were great as well.

How in the world did this restaurant get a rating of more than 1 star, let alone have a 4.3 star rating!?!? When asked about cooking method of side vegetables, the waitress said they were sauteed. NOT! Half of the little dish of vegetables were hard & barely warm and the other half was only slightly softer & lukewarm. And the whole dish of vegetables had NO seasoning at all. When these issues were brought to the server's attention, she offered to put them BACK in the microwave! When we asked if vegetables were actually microwaved & NOT sauteed, she fessed up! The meatloaf gravy was likely either from a jar or dry packet & much too salty. The meatloaf was dry/overcooked & even burnt on the edges. Hardly any flavor as well..The potatoes were supposed to be garlic mashed but that wasn't the case, and they too were barely warm. The ONLY thing that wasn't bad were the appetizer onion rings. Spare yourself & skip the Blue Ridge Cafe in Ruckersville, VA!!

We just got married March 11, 2021. We were on a budget and many places were not as open to negotiating the number or the labor cost of certain aspects of the contract. Sue was AMAZING! We have been vegetarian for about 7 months but we GLADLY broke our diet for Blue Ridge Cafe & Catering Co food! The constant communication was perfect even when I had to take days to respond because of the chaos. Sue's willingness to listen, be upfront, find solutions and just be very welcoming and helpful was amazing. She was not present for the wedding but her staff was on point, very helpful, very willing and attentive. I can not say enough about how amazing this experience was. Even if you do not use them for your catering events (which you should); stop by and grab a bite at their restaurant!! Thank you Sue for everything and please extend our gratitude to your staff who was present. Oh! They also did have a vegetarian option.

I ordered the nachos and a salad for curbside pickup. The nachos were delicious and piping hot, loved how they took the time to box up the topping separate from the chips. The salad was just okay - not my favorite. The lettuce didn’t seem super fresh. A bit on the expensive side, but overall I was satisfied.

We stopped in on our way home, so we had two tired kids. The staff was very accommodating of a not so happy toddler and our waitress went out of her way to make her happy. The QR codes for the menu were a little annoying because none of us could get ours to work but the waitress brought us paper menus. She said the menu was limited but it seemed pretty large. I got the seared salmon, and it was very bland and could have been cooked a little longer. All in all, not terrible, some small issues that could definitely be worked out.

Would give zero stars if I could. Worst food I've ever had. I ordered a rare steak and it came out black as dirt with zero seasonings not even salt. Very clearly understaffed so terrible service too
