I I had the duck tacos 3 average size tacos for $16. It was a duck compote with fresh corn tacos that were average nothing special. Decent wine list 8 to $12 for a glass. This was at 9 p.m. I believe they do most of their business as a coffee shop earlier in the day. It deserves perhaps a 3.5 star if they garnish the tacos with arugula or mesclun mix. Service was slow on this night

Recently renovated, it's a quaint restaurant with tattoo-laden staff who serve coffee, breakfast, lunch, beer, and wine. I ordered chicken salad sandwich, which was fantastic. Came with a side salad equally nice. I ordered a local virginia beer, which I had never heard of, so that was an epiphany. Prices were reasonable, not cheap but not expensive. Plenty of seating when I went at noon. Lake Anne is probably the oldest neighborhood in Reston, so it's not the hotspot anymore but was probably the coolest scene in town back in the 70's. Worth a visit.

I've always wanted to stop in and finally had the opportunity recently on a Saturday. To my surprise, it was one of the strangest encounters. When I walked in, no one greeted me, but instead I was stared at in a very strange way by both the young lady making coffee and the gentleman at the register. No one still said a word. When I started looking at the menu, another customer literally came over and took the menu. I then asked for another menu without much success. I then promptly proceeded to the exit. What a strange unwelcoming unfriendly establishment. Sad for Lake Anne.

What can I say, we really love this place.

Food and coffee were overpriced. Ordered a breakfast sandwich with a fried egg and the egg was not fully cooked. Service was great and everyone was friendly.

Over priced place that is taking advantage of the location and lacking competition. The lady who currently (Jan 2020) works upstairs has no business being in the service industry. She has a permanent scowl and thinks it is a good idea to yell at customers who are confused by the lack of signage
Prices are ridiculous $14 for a sandwich that tastes like something your kindergartener would make. Coffee was room temperature
As you can see, don’t go there

Cappuccino and latte were better than Starbucks, for my taste. I didn't try the pastries, but it looked like a nice selection. Clean, modern decor and a great patio. I will definitely be back!

i'm glad to see this coffee house is finally busy- at least on the weekends when i've stopped in. the coffee is a little overpriced and they have trouble managing the busy crowd/line, but the second floor is a much needed addition, and the food is good. it's nice to be able to properly hang out in the lake anne shopping center.

If you are looking for a cute spot with great food, amazing drinks and an all around pretty view then go here! I usually do not put good reviews or bother posting them but for this place I will! Love it!!!!!

Completely renovated by new owners. A really nice community place to relax and spend time. Love the fireplace upstairs, and the patio will be nice in the spring. Try the food as well - incredibly tasty.
