Lake Anne Coffee House & Wine Bar

This place was fantastic, especially on a warm winter evening. And Kaley (Kelly?) was absolutely the best!

Delicious food and quickly delivered coffee to order. The atmosphere is cozy and personable. It was a busy Saturday brunch and we had no trouble with getting a table and received prompt service, even with a line to the counter.

Food and drinks were decent quality, but absurdly overpriced for the quantity. Service was friendly, but very slow, and my order was not cooked correctly. $7 for two wings at happy hour is bonkers.

Half of the service is great, half of it is terrible. When the owners & core staff that's been there a long time is around, it's wonderful but if they're not around the service has been slow & inattentive --and at the worst when I got food in these less popular hours, there little gravy one time & almost no meat the other time. I asked for more & as far as I could tell nothing changed. I left without eating it because I really needed protein & they just argued with me about it being the normal amount and I didn't come back for a year after this happened a few times in a row. Other guests also have been really snide. It's not a place to relax unless it's in their peak hours & then there's too many people to be able to relax. Truly unfortunate since it's the cutest spot on the water & the only coffee shop in a 20 minute radius that isn't a massive chain with enough seats for everyone. Giving 2 stars since there are occasional times where service & food is good plus the location is great, but the lack of consistency is rough.

Amazing food made from scratch and my wife has declared that they have the best soy latte in Reston. Gluten free people will find great items to order.

What a great intimate place to enjoy wine, great food and live music, in this case Veronneau. Half priced wine on Monday and Thursday. The staff is fantastic. We will be back.

The iced coffee was gross (tasted really off) and while observing the staff noticed some unhygienic behaviors. For example, they leave water out for customer self service. I saw an employee take a towel and wipe down an outside table, then remove the lid of the drinking water and DIP THAT TOWEL INTO THE DRINKING WATER CONTAINER and continue cleaning tables. Nasty

One of the best cappuccinos I’ve had in NOVA! Coffee flavor came through strong and full bodied. Will be returning soon! :)

Love the vibe and the decor especially in the upstairs! It’s such a hidden gem! Such a great ambiance and I love sitting outside on a nice day! Pastries and coffee are 😋
