This place has had a massive renovation and is now beautiful with two floors of seating and a nice view of the Plaza from the large windows on both floors. They are still just a couple weeks into the reopening so have limited food (a few pastries and now a few small hot dishes for dinner) but their coffee drink selection is pretty extensive, and includes Almond milk as a dairy alternative. No sugar free syrups yet but hopefully that will come in time too. Their WiFi is a bit on the sluggish side - at least on a busy Saturday morning, but otherwise this is a great place to come and hang out with locals - it's in a Plaza that isn't always easily discovered unless you know about it. But Lake Anne Plaza is a great place with a number of nice places to eat and shop, and hosts a Saturday farmers market and craft market.

I love this place. The homemade jam, homemade ketchup, local coffee and overall local connection make this place a keeper. Excellent coffee which is hard to find in Reston. Avocado toast is amazing, great presentation, friendly staff, clean and simple bistro. Excellent prices!

Another really fun dinner date at LACH. Food was delicious and the jazz music delightful. (Zoe & Parker are great!) We always enjoy our dinners there and we are lucky enough to be in walking distance! We had duck and hanger steak and yummy brussels and bleu for an appetizer.

Tried these guys out for breakfast this AM after recommendations from friends. Awesome little place. We both had the croque madame and it was great. Coffees and lattes were spot on too. Definitely will be back. Now that we know about it - have to try the Wine Bar!

Nice place, in a quaint little lakeside community and center. The coffee was good as was the hot chocolate (kids). They had cafe cubano which was quite authentic. Interestingly, what it lacked, thickness and richness, the espresso I followed it up with was very thick and rich... Didn't make sense to me. We went for coffee and dessert -- which the photos and reviews suggested we're good -- but they were out of everything except one cake (which was very good). Kids got Ben and Jerry minis from convenience store across the plaza. Parking was easy. Waze sent us to a lot that looked like it was residential, so turned around and headed back to the main lot, but after arriving, saw a path and stairs that lead right to the smaller lot to the west.

Horrible and pretentious excuse for a coffee shop. Rude staff and their pastries are days old. McDonald's has better service.

Lake Anne is such a nice oasis in the middle of it all! Great coffee house, restaurants, concerts, water sports, shopping, an old fashioned drug store with a lunch counter - you'll feel the 1960's nostalgia as soon as you approach - all tucked away for you to enjoy!

This is a lovely spot for coffee, brunch, or even just an evening glass of wine with a view of the lake! I come here for breakfast and coffee quite often, and adore their sandwiches (particularly the croque madame and the Cuban). There's ample outside sitting and seating upstairs with a view of the plaza.
