Lovely little place for coffee and brunch. I am enjoying a croquet madam.

Great local spot. Good variety of craft staples and seasonal items. In addition to coffee, wine, and espresso beverages, also offers small plates and shareable bites. Indoor space is open for restroom only at the moment, mask required to walk in; order at the window and optional outdoor seating if you'd like to stay and enjoy your order. Outdoor space heaters and well spaced tables--excellent atmosphere.

Service was bad, coffee was only okay. I came here on New Year’s Eve a bit before lunch time. The guy who took my order was not wearing a mask, seemed pretty upset at the world, and when I asked if he could wave at me once my order was ready (I wanted to fair outside due to covid) he ignored me and I had to ask twice. Then, of course, he failed to do it. I like this coffee shop because of the experience of getting good service and drinking a cup of coffee by the lake. The service was definitely lacking that day. Hope you guys do better next time.

Met a friend for coffee and a breakfast sandwich at Lake Anne Coffee House. I had a latte with almond milk and a bacon egg and cheese croissant - both were excellent. It was a little chilly and wet outside and the waiter made sure to take care of us by turning on the outdoor heater. Can’t wait to come back.

Excellent breakfast tacos. Service was great too

Stopped in for a quick cup of coffee but found a charming place with a wonderful staff and surprises all around....great breakfast, pretzels and an upstairs seating area where you can see the lake.

We went for Sunday brunch at 11:30.
Excellent service. Very good coffee ☕ and food. Excellent value.
It did start to get more crowded by the time we left.

I have been here several times at this point.

First of all, if you like risotto, you should try out the savory breakfast oats... Sauteed mushrooms, chevre, onions in steel cut oats with a fried egg on top. It is divine and I order it almost every time. The breakfast sandwiches have been widely admired by my friends and husband-- portions aren't overly large and they enjoyed the option to get sauteed vegetables with their orders.

I can't comment on much beyond their drip coffee. It is excellent and I love the giant mugs when you order a large!

The prices are very reasonable here, much more reasonable that I would expect for the area.

Keep in mind the farmers market that happens each Saturday-- it will be a mob scene on those days and the place really doesn't have the capacity to handle large crowds (expect to wait a long time for your coffee or food when it is busy) Sunday mornings are pretty chill if you come early when they first open up.

Food is great and so is the location. However, the woman running the upstairs really makes you feel unwelcome. The upstairs is full service only, which is befuddling when it's the middle of winter and exactly one table being used at 12:30 on a weekday.

From a business perspective, I see the merits of full service to increase the avg ticket price, and discourage individuals from using the location as their personal offices, but it's a coffee bar! They should be encouraging people to visit and be happy that they are there, even if they aren't buying a full meal. That just means more repeat business and better word of mouth. The coldness of the service and lack of self-seating just makes me want to take my business elsewhere.

It's a service industry and making your customers feel welcome should be as equal a priority as the quality of the food. A real shame considering this is the only quality, independently owned coffee & wine bar in Reston.

The Chai tea latte was poured straight out of a pre packaged store bought box. The person at the counter could be described as moody at best.
