We visited on a Sunday around 10am after seeing a friend on Facebook share their page/posts. It looked amazing in photos and was equally as amazing in person. A cute little spot in Poquson with fun decor and seating. We ordered the Hangover Plate and The BLT on a biscuit. I would have ordered the specialty dish that had the fried chicken skin but that wasn't available until after 11. I'll try that next time because we will definitely come back. My ONLY suggestion (not a complaint) would be to have the sweet tea sweeter :). Highly recommend to check out!

I had their Hangover Plate and a bloody mary. The drink was simple but tasty with a definite kick from the spice. The biscuits and gravy and potatoes are probably the best I've had in this area. Everything was cooked perfectly and the flavors melded well. The only minor gripe I have is with the pool of oil/grease that came on the plate which I assume is run off from the eggs. (I soaked it up with a napkin before snapping the pic/eating). Overall and enjoyable meal and I will definitely return.
Second visit and I wasn't as impressed. The Smoked Brisket Sandwich had an unappetizing amount of fat on the meat and tasted reheated(?). The smashbrowns also weren't as well cooked or seasoned as the previous visit. A couple of the workers are quite friendly but service was a bit of a miss with individuals more interested in chatting than checking on tables.

Fantastic service, and friendly staffs. Delicious food with very appealing presentation. Definitely we’ll come back.

Foor and service was good. Coffee was absolutely awful. Tasted like it had been sitting on a burner all day. They offered me flavored creamer (Coffeemate) but I drink my coffee black. Quality coffee doesn't need a bunch of cream and sugar to taste good. So I would not get that again. Though the food was good and service was friendly and fast. My son ordered the shrimp and grits and I ordered the 185 plate with French toast, bacon, eggs, and potatoes. That was a little pricey for what it is. Those ingredients are very cheap and the cooking methods are basic so not sure why it cost $14 or $15. I might return to try lunch at some point.

Hands down best brunch spot in Hampton Roads! The building is so cute, I love the landscape, and the food is to die for! The cheese grits are the bees knees!

I’m so glad we sought this place out. Service was friendly and the food was delicious! We had the Hangover plate and the smaller version of the 185 breakfast. The biscuits and gravy were delicious and the french toast was perfect! We also tried the grits and brisket… Have mercy! The grits are done right! Perfectly seasoned cheese grits. It’s a drive for us but certainly worth it.

As a long time customer of this establishment, I recently visited 185 Restaurant with high hopes, as their menu looked incredibly enticing as always. However, my experience was extremely disappointing, as the restaurant did not honor their menu. Several of the items I had hoped to order were either unavailable or significantly altered from what was advertised on the menu.
As today is Mother's Day, my wife's first at that, she, our newborn, and I all looked forward in sharing this special day together at our favorite local brunch spot. I even called ahead the day before to ensure the same menu used daily would be available and the hours were the same and the representative stated it would be. L
On such a beautiful sunny day our day was darkened when we arrived to find out (after waiting 30 minutes) that the menu presented before us wasn't the daily menu. When we asked for the daily menu they said they were only doing what was on today's menu and couldn't accommodate us. This place is known for their amazing burgers and didn't have any of what we were looking for on this menu.
Just to make sure I didn't hear wrong, I even check their social media, website, and Yelp to see if this menu change was advertised and it wasn't. As a long time customer I don't appreciate our favorite local brunch spot ruining this special day for our family.
We are seriously considering never returning here again due to this sour taste...or lack thereof...left in our memory.
Please do better. Thank you.

This place is a wonderful restaurant in the heart of Poquson. They are open for breakfast and lunch only. The food is delicious, and plenty of it, and the service is excellent. They make you feel really at home here and want to make sure everything is exactly like you wanted it.

Food was delicious. The S.O.S. Sausage Gravy Biscuits were spot on. The biscuit melted in your mouth.
Bloody Mary was good too.

Sunday morning breakfast. Wife and I ordered shrimp and grits and veggies scrambled. Both dishes were excellent 👍🏿. Nice family establishment. Better get here early as it's a popular place
