Grounded Coffee

Honestly, it was just okay. The specialty latte I had was like drinking liquid sugar. I was not expecting it from an elevated coffee shop but will know for next time. I'll stick to a fairly standard espresso drink if I go back to get a better gauge and update my review. I also chose a blueberry crumb but tossed it after eating a third. Tasted like slightly fruity flour with some nuts. Not worth it.

Very elevated coffee shop. Their oatmilk latte made with their featured brand, Three Ships Coffee of Virginia Beach, is among the best I have had anywhere I have travelled. My barista took the brief moment to draw a lovely flower on my drink cup. The decor is welcoming, the drink, baked goods and food menu is varied with many delicious treats to try. Never had an affogato? This would be the place for that. I will be back!

I've been here a handful of times and consistently have a great experience. The cafe is inviting and the baristas are always friendly. The coffee is good. The food menu is limited, but covers all the bases, is high quality and has always tasted great! The place is always clean when I go. There is a variety of seating from tables to couches. The music is on point. This place is by far one of the best coffee spots on the Peninsula.

I have really enjoyed my visits to Grounded. Even more impressive, they opened during 2020. Need I say anymore?
Very welcoming and the decor is minimalist and charming.

I’ve had a chance to meet one of the owners and he was very involved, and kind. I have not had a drink or bite to eat that wasn’t satisfying. The wifi can be hit or miss, but no stars deducted because I have hotspot and I go to a coffee shop, well, for the coffee!!

Excited to learn they rent out their space for events. I am looking forward to hosting private events in 2023. #supportLOCAL

A nice quaint little coffee shop. The Americano is delicious. I had the b l a t. It's very tasty and well made. However for the price it needs a little more bacon. And it would still be pricey even then. Almost $8 for a sandwich but again it was tasty. I actually tried it just so that I could post this review of it. It is definitely worth a try. I gave it five stars because the staff is good and attentive. The food is good although a little overpriced in my opinion. And the coffee is on point.

This place has a lovey atmosphere and beautiful decor. I'm a huge fan of the layout of their main room, and how spacious it feels. I got a drip coffee and a carrot cupcake (gluten free and vegan!)- the coffee is strong and really tasty. Staff behind the counter were also very nice. This place is a bit pricey ($2.90 for the coffee, $4.00 for the bakery item), but they serve quality food/beverages.

Coffee good, tea good, they changed the recipe for the avocado, it’s not as toasty as it used to be. The bomb is if you watch them closely they don’t ever wash their hands. They go from exchanging money to touching everything which includes grabbing your tea bag with the same hand. For it to be a cute upscale coffee shop they should incorporate better hygienic practices moving forward.

I love finding great local coffee shops, and this is no exception! Delicious coffee and amazing treats. Their lattes are wonderful with subtley on the sweetness and focus on flavor. I enjoyed a mouth watering cinnamon roll as well. 10/10 would recommend.

Decent little shop!
Great for drip coffee, and iced lattes. . . But for the life of me, I can't get a decent steamed drink (particularly cappuccinos) without drinking an over steamed milk bubble bath with over-extracted beans. The again, most people are OK with that. Wifi is ok when it's working but I've had calls drop and intermittent internet multiple times here. Three ships roasts some good beans however, so it's really nice having a place to buy them on the peninsula.

Delicious coffee and delicious food and the young ladies were very friendly and very helpful. I would definitely come back here again.
