1855 Coffee House

I stopped in for a quick bite and a coffee while in the area and am so happy I did! I chatted with the owner, who was a pleasure, and really enjoyed the building itself. They left some of the features of the old bank that was there which is a neat touch. The mocha was great, and the bagel I had was absolutely delicious. I’ve been to a lot of coffee shops and this one is special!

Great WiFi, Great music, and a great ambiance. Everything you need in your local coffee shop to meet with friends or knock out a few solid hours of work.

Wonderful spot to grab coffee or a bite to eat in downtown Mazo. Friendly staff, comfortable atmosphere, and very good food! We had the white cheddar and ham sandwich and the BLT, both of which we're excellent! Looking forward to the next time we are passing through to stop again and try some of their beverages. Highly recommend!

Love this place so much!! The coffee is delicious and the food is so fresh and yummy! The White Cheddar & Ham sandwich has sliced apples in it - the combination of sweetness and crunch is perfection!

Coffee is just OK but the few times we’ve stopped the baked goods are so terrible. This weekend it was a muffin and the paper literally wouldn’t even peel off and we tried to crack it in half and it crumbled into pieces on the plate… pretty much just threw money in the trash. Bummer as a great local shop would really help the downtown. If you’re passing through town keep going to Convivio or Homecoming in Spring Green…

Michelle is friendly and makes a point of calling people by their names. Prices are fine and coffee is wonderful. A friend of mine always gets the Classic Egg Sandwich and loves it. This coffee house is very comfortable.

Tried the cranberry apple fruit bar (looked like granola crust with fruit and oat topping). Tasted AMAZING. The whole thing tasted like the best bite of an apple pie, the only regret I have is not getting it warmed up when she asked.

Michelle has created a warm, cozy and beautiful cafe out of an old bank in historical Mazomanie. She welcomes you with a warm smile and continues to make you feel at home with the menu and the local artisan shop out of the vault. This is our go-to spot to start morning trips off right! I highly recommend making it a stop on your future travels, you won’t regret it! Thank You!

What a great addition to our little town! Very friendly with a great atmosphere. Perfect for getting together with friends or setting up in the back room and working. Drinks and food are delicious. Michelle has done a great job bringing this coffee shop to life!

Very nice spot in the town of Mazomanie. Owner is very nice and has a great selection of breakfast sandwiches and coffee. Very chill vibe and great way to start out your morning. Would definitely recommend anyone local or passing through Mazomanie to stop and check out 1855 Coffee House!
