Country store atmosphere. Delicious fresh made food. Tie this in with a visit to Luray Falls. Get there before noon however since in gets busy.

The coffee is great. Charming place. Coming from more urban areas I was surprised how inexpensive it was, yet good quality and service!

I am so excited to have discovered Gathering Grounds!! I was thrilled by all of the vegetarian options. The veggie burgers were phenomenal! I SO wish a second location would open in Woodstock. We would go all the time and know it would do so well. Can't wait to come back!

We had a fantastic time visiting this restaurant and sitting at the back patio with our three dogs!! Our drinks were brought with three cups of whipped cream and treats for the pups. The patio was so beautiful and well shaded from the afternoon sun! We received excellent service and everyone in our party was content with our food and the atmosphere. I loved the fish and chips, the pasta salad was raved about, and the fries here are so perfect! This will definitely be a spot to return to in the future!!

I got the turkey cobb on the pretzel bun with mayo instead of blue cheese and it was DELICIOUS! The mozzarella sticks appetizer = amazing and the sauce it came with was hot and in house made, I just wanted to drink it because it was so good. The staff were super friendly and inviting as well, the experience was perfect.

Always love Gathering Grounds however, recently some servers have been lacking in the customer service department. Having been a waitress myself for many years, I had not been too impressed by the service there lately. The veteran servers have always been so amazing and on top of things but the newer servers lack in a sense of refilling drinks and giving updates when kitchen is a little behind. My husband, toddler and I came in for a lunch one day and our service was disappointing. Not only did our waitress seem to forget we were there, my husband had to ask for refills when she had walked by us several times. Our food was taking a while and we never received updates or was told whether or not the kitchen was delayed. There were Togo orders and guests who came in after us that received their food before we did. Now I’m not a stickler on server etiquette and it’s rare I leave less than 20% but I did not feel my service was what it could have been. Will continue to go to gathering Grounds, but will be requesting a more veteran server!

Very good food and selection. Great service as well. Only issue was it was pretty cold inside. It was insanely cold outside the day we went, but you could feel a draft the entire time.

Nice place! Wait staff was prompt and courteous when greeting, and my party was seated quickly. I went during lunch, and they were almost at capacity. They have a great mix of food options on their menu. I had a fish sandwich & chips that was delicious!

Our waiter was quick to notice that our table's food hadn't come yet even though others who arrived later got theirs. We were compensated for the discrepancy. That's customer service!

If we are in the area again, we will definitely be back to try their breakfast and happy hour.

I needed a nice place for lunch with colleagues - Gathering Grounds was perfect! We called in advance to make a reservation and placed our orders ahead of time. Everything went like clockwork. The meals were delicious and everyone loved the french fries. The staff were friendly and helpful. I only wish they had another location near where I live. I would definitely eat there again.

They were busy. Good sign! The food was good and there was plenty to each portion. The smell of coffee set the tone. The pastry counter when you go in hooks you right in. The staff was really nice.
