Gathering Grounds Patisserie & Cafe

Arrived ~10:45 on Labor Day. They were busy, and had stopped serving breakfast. However, breakfast sandwiches are served all day.
We were able to grab a seat on the patio, which was operating under counter service (order at the barista counter, and good would be brought out to the patio). Everyone was very friendly. They had a complimentary pup cup (whipped cream and milkbone treat) for our dog.
Our breakfast sandwiches were great! We also had fried green tomatoes.
We'll definitely come again next time we visit Skyline Drive.

What a find! We weren’t expecting to find this sweet lunch spot when we left Shenandoah NP! 100% recommend. We had coffee, treats, sandwiches and our pup got a puppicino. We are outside. Wonderful people!

Everything prepared so well and served hot. Best place to eat near Luray Caverns.

I was getting hungry after touring the Luray Cavern then I found this place! This was located in the downtown area but the parking was easy! Great food and great service!

Excellent. Had the cheeseburger platter. Cooked to order. Delicious. Fries were also delicious. Great place to eat. It is a very busy establishment but the staff is always working hard. Very kind staff.

We sat on the patio with our pup, although they weren't able to offer full service on the patio at the time of day we came everything was incredible anyway. Everyone was helpful and super friendly. We ordered everything inside with the barista who helped me with all my choices and was completely lovely (and delivered everything to us out on the patio). The dirty vanilla Chai was magical and their pancakes were exceptional!

Had a lovely first visit at Gathering Grounds! Shout out to Cody- he was fantastic, personable and provided great service! Everyone was friendly and efficient. The sandwiches and fries were fresh, hot and quite tasty! Will certainly return when in Luray again. Be sure to stop by Gathering Grounds!

We went for a long weekend trip to Luray/New Market area and ended up going here twice. Both times were some of the best food we ever had. Recommend the chess pie, the peanut butter cookie, the brownie, and the giant pretzel with beer cheese. Sandwiches were excellent. The pasta salad is perfectly cooked and the French fries are an excellent upgrade to your order. Also the upgrade to focaccia bread is an excellent idea! Bummed this place isn’t near my house. It’s very affordable lunch spot.

Loved the sandwich that I got to go, but my friend's food came out late and was listed under the wrong name, so we waited an extra half hour for it.
