Gathering Grounds Patisserie & Cafe

The restaurant has excellent food and beverages. The service was not what I was expecting. I would not like to think it was because we were a biracial couple. We had to wait over 30 minutes to get our meal, which was not the problem. The couple seated after us got their food and was finishing when I got up and asked about our meal. To make matters worse, the three patrons seated after us got their meals within 15 of sitting down. I gave 2 stars because the good was great. Not coming back!

I got a black bean burger and my friend got a ham Panini, the food was great. The fries in particular, were really good. You need good fries to go with your burger and this place has them. Unfortunately, I forgot to take pictures as I was very hungry and busy devouring the food😂

We love the gathering Grounds. From great coffee to great entrées, from breakfast to dinner they have it all covered. We have been going here since they opened and it has always been a great experiance.

Stopped here for lunch between SNP hikes - really liked this place. They have outdoor seating options in a patio out back, which is much appreciated as we are still being covid-cautious. I'm an omnivore but decided to give the No-Bull Burger a try. It was delicious. For some reason they veganized mine, which I didn't ask for, but it was (still) great. I have no notes for improvement and I am inspired to see if I can replicate it as home. Sweet potato fries were pretty good. My wife enjoyed her grilled cheese panini. Cody at the counter was friendly and answered all our questions. He recommended the vanilla chai cheesecake for dessert which we enjoyed on our drive back to the park but I'd try the pie next time. The hostess was also very pleasant. If GG were open later, we definitely would have returned for dinner. As it stands, I look forward to stopping in again next time we are in SNP for the day .

Great cafe. Staff was very friendly. The food was really great and affordable prices. I tried their pistachio latte and it was very good not to sweet.

Great spot for a sandwich, coffee and a slice of your favorite pie. Plan for a little wait but it is worth it. The Monaco and Marseilles were great!

good food, clean atmosphere, awesome staff, been eating here for two months. but their food is over priced and never on point with custom orders, and the meals dont come with a drink. i was also charged 14$ for a grilled cheese and small tomato soup not even filled to the top. if they could revalue their prices or focus on order specifications id probably return.

10 stars for the service. The staff is so kind and helpful. Cute atmosphere. Delicious food. Wish we had a place like this back home.

My family and I were excited to try this place. However, the experience wasn't quite pleasant. The host asked us to wait, then when he came back, he told us there was a waiting time of at least 30 mins. I should say, my group was comprised of 5 people. The whole vibe seemed off. Right behind us, there was a group of 4 people, and they were seated right away. As tourists, I am sad that this is the experience I am taking back home.

P.S. In response to the owner's reply: That would have been completely understandable, had it not been that I heard the four discussing if they wanted to eat there or not. If they had reservations, how would that make sense? But thank you for your prompt response to my review.

Delicious food and good times. Cody was a blast and i am very glad he was our server. Will be back next time we are in town for sure!
