The Local is a place where you can spend time inside or outside on a nice patio under umbrellas, with a delicious mocha drink and sandwich, or if you are in a hurry grab it and go. It is a perfect breakfast or lunch cafe!

The Chai Tea is amazing ! Highly over priced but that's how it is in Irvington. The food is also pricy but good. I enjoy the feel of their establishment. Very country/beach cozy. The staff is friendly enough and I believe you can use the wifi while dining in.

If you're in Irvington, I recommend stopping here for breakfast. Nice outdoor seating and charming indoor seating. Good coffee, muffins, and breakfast sandwiches. They serve other meals, too, but we come here for breakfast.

Counter person, was snippy and arrogant when I questioned price of a beverage. ($7 and change for two bottles of soda) Then, when I asked for the bottles to be opened (both wife and I have arthritis) she open one by hand turned around and walked away from us.
Next time we visit Lancaster I'll bring my own beverages, and avoid this place like the plague.

Perfectly satisfying salmon topped bagel after visiting the flea market. The patio was a great place to enjoy the great weather on a Saturday morning.

The service was bad. The kid did know what the special of the day was. They did know how to operate the ordering machine. Took way too long for a bowl of soup. They really should train employees properly or not hire kids. I was disappointed.

Avocado toast, breakfast sandwich, and lattes were delicious. Nice patio for outdoor dining!

Great neighborhood place!! Friendly people and, cozy atmosphere. Had breakfast here twice and lunch once in our 4 days in the area.

Great place with super salads, sandwiches and coffee. AND all eco friendly and sustainable with wood utensils (in the to-go version) and biodegradable containers. No styrofoam in sight, Yeah!!!

Jalepeno cornbread was advertised and, like any rational human being, I excitedly ordered. I received two pieces of toast that had a couple flakes of jalepeno in it. Copout "cornbread" is simply a travesty, especially in a place solidly in the south. Something as simple as recognizing they sell jalepeno toast would have mitigated my disappointment, but instead I'm stuck with sad pieces of toast with identity crisis. The hot chocolate was okay but not mixed well. 2/10 would not go again.
