The Local Grind

We had been wanting to check this coffee shop out for a while and finally had a chance to do so. It was a bit overwhelming at first with the large selection of drinks and trying to narrow down to what I wanted (went with the Mocha) and was very impressed. It was well made and delicious! We also tried a homemade muffin which was great and of course, went well with the coffee. Highly recommend if you're in the area!

It's a nice little coffee shop with a ton of drink options and some food too. Staff was pleasant and helpful. If you work from home or from your laptop, there's some space near the back where you can set up while you enjoy your coffee. My drink was a little on the sweet side but I'd guess that's the way most people prefer it.

If I could make a suggestion, it would be for a bit more comfortable seating like small couch. If there was better seating for me to work from here a bit more efficiently, I'd probably be here every other day.

It’s nice to have a dedicated coffee shop in the downtown area. The Local Grind has such a unique wall menu which highlights the great selection of hot and cold beverages. Many days they have baked goods as well. Parking is limited and difficult. It’s an easy shop to miss being on a busy street but once discovered you will return. They also have a punch card for a free drink after 10 purchases.

What a unique and awesome little hidden spot! This place is amazing! The decor alone is worth a stop in. The staff and the coffee makes it worth coming back to over and over again.

I asked them to surprise me on what to drink, the guy asked me a few get-to-know-you questions and then made me a delicious drink based off that! Food is tasty too!

Tried it for the first time. Wish I would have stopped in sooner. The coffee was excellent as well as the blended coffee drink I ordered. The prices are also good.

Very cute coffee house with reasonable prices and a large selection of hot and cold drinks. Service was excellent. I had regular coffee and it was okay, but my wife's chai tea was amazing. Will definitely visit again.

I decided to take a chance and try something new.

Here is my review from ordering through Grub Hub.

I ordered a "Double" Norm which seems to be 2 biscuits that are separated with gravy for $10.35

and then I ordered a Strawberry and Banana smoothie - 32 oz for 11.98.

A "Double" Norm is 2 biscuits separated, which wasn't worth it, you can go to Indy's and it's cheaper and you get more. This makes me miss Forky's.

That gravy wasn't bad, it tastes like the bagged instant gravy you get from Kroger that you boil or heat up.

The smoothies were two 16 oz. smoothies that were watery and tasted like the burning rubber smell. It was overwhelming so I kept trying to figure out what the taste was and that's what I ended up equating it to.

I tried this location to be supportive, so I gave it a shot.

this meal ended up costing me about $30.00 thru grubhub and not worth it.

Ok Local Grind Pop UP coffee is awesome! We had a large group for breakfast this morning and we needed coffee and light breakfast and Local Grind totally pulled it off!! Prices were reasonable! The owner was so friendly and helpful! I will be using them again!

They don't have an espresso machine. It's all drip coffee with espresso prices. The two things my wife and I ordered were cold. So cold coffee...
