Third Wave Coffee

Seriously such a great shop. The vibe is great and the coffee is worth it. The customer service is A+. If you truly want a quality pour over or espresso this is the place to go to.

First time I tried pour-over and it may be the best cup of coffee I've ever had. Great local atmosphere and coffees roasted on site. This is a new favorite!

They always have a drink that I love! The owner is incredibly nice and care deeply about his coffee and customers! They take specialty coffee to another level. Blessed to have them here in Lynchburg!

I came here based on the photo implying they had a summer menu and real food, versus like muffins. The coffee is good, and it’s a great atmosphere to work, or do online stuff - without real food which I get theres businesses nearby, but still felt ehh. If I wasn’t hungry I’d be giving 5 stars, just didn’t want anyone else to be as disappointed as I’m currently driving back to the other side of town.

I absolutely love this place to study. A hidden gem. The coffee is nothing less of exquisite and the latte art is great. Their holiday eggnog latte is hands down the best I’ve ever had.

Third wave is always a Go-to Coffee shop in LYH. Their baristas are the friendliest group you’ll meet and they know their coffee.

Jimmy (owner) has put together something truly special at Third-Wave. Thanks for being a beacon of cafe community in the area!

Such a neat little coffee hub! I can't say I am one for specialty coffees but you can count me in after a visit to Third Wave! Great atmosphere and very chill vibe! Will be going back!

Love coming here for a quick cup of coffee or to stay and read for a while. This coffee shop is my favorite place in the area, with fun seasonal drinks and a friendly staff. Also very clean!

The coffee I got was so acidic it curdled the milk and the barista said “that’s how it’s supposed to be.”
And story. Their social media team was trying to make a pun with Samuel L Jackson but put Morgan Freeman instead, so I told helped correct them but instead of saying thanks they deleted my comment. Who does that? 😄

The coffee was very good, I drink it black with no sugar and it was smooth and not bitter. They could use more seating.
