Third Wave Coffee

We were visiting from out of state and discovered this great local coffee shop! Authentic, full bodied and flavorful coffee. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely horrible customer service. Walked in, practically empty, one person at the counter with a coffee, 3-4 people in the rear. Have a seat the bar and completely ignored by those behind the table. People who came in after me have they order taken. I could understand if there was a line, but I sat for a while before any one thought to ask if I wanted to order some thing. Coffee must be the gold standard to have such horrible customer service. First and last time. Not wasting my money there. Wish you the best with you business.

The baristas know their stuff! They care about the coffee but they aren't snobby about it. The atmosphere is welcoming and the music is super chill. Always go there to relax and have a good cup of coffee 😊

This spot is PRIME. My husband & I met in Lynchburg & we always visit here when we come to visit. These people know what they're doing & make a mean cup of coffee! They are knowledgeable - let them learn you up!

One of most enjoyable places in Lynchburg! The people are truly delightful and the coffee is pure and wonderful. The WiFi is great and the shop is always clean and tidy. If you’re ever needing a place to relax and smile this is the place to be.

Local, simple, in-house coffee roaster with ample seating/meeting/study space and friendly staff. Serving pour over, cold brew, hot, iced, decaf, and several choices of flavor pumps to customize. Can also buy their bagged coffee.

Of all the shops in the greater Lynchburg area, Third Wave has the best espresso, hands down. I am a fan the vibe, the music playlists, and their approach to service and of course, their coffee. Great stuff!

Got a chai latte fairly tasty but wasn't very hot. The 2 people I was with also commented on their temp as well would like a little bigger selection of food items

Absolutely best coffee in Lynchburg! No place matches the coffee quality and barista expertise!! There are some great staples and they are constantly working to refine and improve. If you love coffee, go in and ask about the blends and brews. Try an iced pour over or find out what is new. You may just get an iced Kenyan aeropress with flavors that dance across your tongue and enthrall your tastebuds.
