Fantastic seasonal drinks, wonderful atmosphere with lots of space and awesome staff! It was my first time there and loved it. My peppermint mocha also looked beautiful! 😍

It's rare to find a place with Nitro cold brew. They have it and it's excellent. Great vibe, great latte art, friendly staff, roasting in house.... Love it!

I think this coffee shop has great potential! They have top of the line machine and brewing methods, also one of the few coffee shops that can actually make decent foam with almond milk. Some of their whole bean coffee was roasted a little light for my taste, thus making it hard to brew a good cup a home without it being sour. Regardless really happy about the quality of the coffee shop and I hope they stick around! The owner is great and very friendly.

Great place for a meeting. When I arrived the coffee was being roasted by a nice gentleman named Jacob. He explained how their process worked and seemed very passionate about what he was doing. It was wonderful to hear his love for what seemed to him to be the art of coffee. I didn't understand everything he said but I truly appreciated his love for coffee... And frankly, it smelled delicious 😍

I tried the London Fog latte - yummy. I definitely recommend getting it in the ceramic cup and spending a few minutes relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. It was quiet enough to have a business conversation with enough movement and bustle to not be overheard by the people around you during said conversation.

While the coffee is good, the bathroom was honestly gross. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages and I was disappointed at the state of it.

Our espresso tonic with grapefruit bitters was perfectly refreshing and delicious. As was our pour-over (not pictured).

Third Wave’s open concept space is calming and restful. The restrooms are clean and artistically quirky.

With a focused coffee menu, and a variety of creative seasonal options, this is one of our favourite Lynchburg coffee stops, boasting kind and un-rushed service.

I have been frequenting this establishment for about 2 years now. It is without any doubt the best coffee shop in Lynchburg. The coffee is never burnt, is always properly brewed, and the service is excellent. The employees are exceptionally friendly, knowledgeable, and personable. Their menu is fantastic and fresh. If you truly enjoy flavor and sudden nuances of great coffee and espresso from around the world, or if you want just a regular coffee fix, look no further than Third Wave. I can promise you will not be disappointed.

Eh I like to give places chances but here’s where it gets sticky so to speak I find myself homeless an living in my car working at the Walmart right next door an seeking employment well further employment to be correct but as I call no answer I consider it’s because its late perhaps but they don’t close for another hour so being as heavy as my social anxiety is to just step inside I attempted to call again as I walked by only to see several women standing around ignoring the phone haha if only I got paid every time I’ve seen the exact scene Waffle House etc. horrible habit well in saying this would’ve been a great worker if hired but seeing as the staff as all female doubt it already I’d get hired unless I was a woman…daily if not multiple times a customer I would’ve been my test is always this and always the same thing I’ll call if no answer I pay it no mind if I’m like 2 mins away I’ll drive close call again see what occurs nothing they stay in the same spots everyone’s served no customers just chatting away wish I had the leisure an time to just lean chat ignore ringing phones an just do whatever what a let down to was getting back into coffee I think I’ll save myself some cash

Great service, top notch equipment and capable/knowledgeable staff. I had a pour over of their Geisha and although slightly under extracted it was still great. Also had a fantastic flat white with perfectly steamed milk. The roasting from the Ethiopia Wote Konga beans I purchased at least, was fresh crop and developed correctly. The only complaint I have is that it was busy without a place to sit - but that’s a good sign. This is the place to go in Lynchburg! Don’t miss it!
