Third Wave Coffee

The ambience of this coffee shop is very calm and crisp, with beautiful natural lighting and a couple of comfy coaches to cozy up on with a good book. The baristas are all kind and easy to talk to, and the specialty coffees and teas are stellar. I’ve never purchased something here that I didn’t really enjoy.

Drip coffee is fantastic for me, the guy who likes it black but they also have an excellent selection of more fancy beverages for my lady. It's a cozy little place with fantastic service.

Exceptional coffee. Beautiful atmosphere with minimalistic style. Very quiet work environment so it’s good for students but not ideal for a first date. I love this coffee shop!

This is my FAVORITE coffee place in Lynchburg. Henry, Gabby, Josh, and Steven always greet me by name with a smile! In fact I believe they all do! They have educated me kindly on so many new things and they are all so unique and wonderful people. The service here is a WHOLE experience!!! Wow. Some of the best coffee in Lynchburg. Their Espressos are amazing. The blend and flavor is fantastic. Also, a fair amount of seating to enjoy their fine creation in a relaxing environment with a friend.

Best lattes in town and cleanest coffee shop. Lots of natural light and varied seating options. Great place to get some work done with free really good wifi and several places to plug in your laptop. Check out the artful designs on top of their coffee drinks as seems to be an emphasis on unusually pretty designs.

Great coffee and tea and I love the relaxed atmosphere.

Edit: Used to come in and work out of there before COVID. Went in today for the first time in months and was disappointed to see only one customer wearing a mask inside the shop, and my server had hers pulled below her nose, which made me very uncomfortable. I came in specifically to support a local business, but I can't risk my own health to do that.

Fantastic coffee, nice atmosphere, courteous staff. A wonderful coffee spot!

In spite of what is written on the package, all their coffees taste the same: Light and decidedly fruity. (Not a fan.)

But, hey I want to support a local business. And, like Charlie Brown trying to kick that football, I keep hoping to get what the package says.

I'll stick with their espresso drinks.

Baristas don’t have a strong sense of urgency or how to build drinks/run orders in a fast and efficient matter. Only come if you have the time to wait….. coffee is ok but eh
