Great spot, ample parking, open glass and space, not over crowded, the coffee house knows how to deliver amazing latte and mochas. The pastry is top notch. If this was close to university I’d come everyday. All the great vibes come at no extra charge compared to other locations in Cville. Huge fan,
I hope they keep the current set up and quality and prices.

The menu is very limited but the service is great and the management is even better.
There was a glitch in the payment system and I was charged a few dollars more for a coffee. It would be a tip but it registered as a service fee (?) I was told. I was also told this can't be fixed on the spot because the manager isn't there but will tell him and fix it. Fine, whatever is what I thought. A few days later I noticed that the charged amount changed on my credit card statement. They fixed it even after I was long gone. It's scary how they can do all that without my being present there and without my card.
However, at the same time, they proved how honest and trustworthy they are.
Honoring their words and taking care of mistakes, Awesome people in my book!

Fantastic little coffee and wine shop. They use quality ingredients and it shows. Great selection of wine as well. However, the pastries, are amazing! I highly recommend the chocolate croissant.

I see the appeal, it's a very cute place, but the coffee was extremely bitter and it's a maze and a nightmare to drive and walk to. I would not fight my way over there again. Service was very nice though and unlike pretty much any coffee place anywhere else, the price was great. For residents, I'm sure it's an absolute gem, but I won't be back.

The pastries were amazing, but they aren’t made in house, and the coffee and other drinks we got were extremely mediocre. The espresso was sour and acidic (if that’s your thing, then you’ll be pleased), the latte was bland but not bad. Chai latte was terrible, no flavor at all, made from a tea bag that was barely steeped. Ambience is great, it’s an adorable set up, but if you’re a coffee person, don’t go.

Great place to come have a caffeinated drink, pastry, and work. Wonderful location and lighting. Good for studying.

This might be my favorite place in all of Charlottesville.

The Workshop is AWESOME!!!! Best indoor seating in Cville for a coffee shop--a beautiful open area with lots of interesting plants and trees. All of the seating is spread out, so it feels safe during Covid times. The almond croissant may be the best pastry I have ever had in my life. And the mocha was also super tasty. Great customer service--I will definitely be coming back!!
