Lone Light Coffee

Great little coffee and pie shop. Stopped in on a cold day and got a latte and a snack. Highly recommend for walking around in downtown Charlottesville for anyone to stop in and have some delicious pie and coffee

Best pie I have had in YEARS! The coffee is also top-notch. It's hard to find a place that makes a traditional macchiato, but they nailed it.

The matcha latte was perfect! The small savory hand pies are amazing too. I wish I’d gotten a slice of the dessert pies to go but it was too early for that much sugar. I’ll be back to try them. Very kind staff as well.

I visited the pie chest and lone light coffee this past pie day. The shop is adorable, the pie is incredible, and the coffee is pretty darn good. The drip coffee is well balanced, and a great addition to a pie. The baristas clearly know what they are doing, and the espresso drinks are well balanced and delicious.

Cute coffee shop and the coffee was really good. I was just put off be the barista when I asked for 2 long shots. She first said no we can’t do them. I asked is the espresso not able to pull them ? She said it can but it takes longer to pull. Maybe just a customer training would be helpful.

LOVE THIS PLACE!!!!! The coffee is amazing, the pies are DELICIOUS (I recommend the goat cheese and egg breakfast pie and their citrus dessert pie). The people there are so sweet, and the building itself, although small, is so comfortable and the atmosphere is great. It definitely gives me hipster cafe vibes and its definitely a good thing! Very nice, great for breakfast, love it!!!

Extremely high-end and consistently superb coffee. It's a great morning date location since they share space with the pie chest. A breakfast pie and a latte are a perfect combo for me and my wife.

You can tell they are dedicated to quality by their impeccable attention to detail. From the latte art to the way they dust the top of my wife's mocha with just enough cocoa powder to make it look amazing. They nail it...

They are also super-friendly and willing to discuss their craft. It amazes me how much thought and prep goes into a truly special cup of coffee.

This place is adorable and has a very welcoming atmosphere. I had to kill some time on the Mall (waiting for a friend), and Lone Light Coffee was a great place to grab a coffee and work. The service was friendly and quick. I only got an iced coffee, but it was perfect for what I wanted. The espresso drinks look divine as well. The only downside (but honestly a plus for me) is it's a bit small. Only four tables inside and two outside. I prefer the cozy vibe the size creates, but just something to be aware of if you're visiting with a larger party! Would highly recommend and hope to return next time I'm in Cville.

Walked to Lone Light it’s in the same shop as a pie shop. Had a great lavender iced coffee and a hand pie for breakfast. Recommend!
