Pleasant atmosphere, everyone smiled. Enjoyed my cold brew and gluten free pound cake. Unfortunately my laptop had connection issues so I didn't stay too long but I will go back. Also, bought beans!

It's not as cozy as their Ivy location, but the chance to watch the magic of coffee roasting more than makes up for the industrial feel of the interior. As usual, the coffee is excellent, even if the selection is intimidating. Shenandoah Joe's doesn't brew their coffee in advance, using the pour over method instead, but the extra time is a good thing, because it really brings out the flavors in their impressive selection of international blends.

Owner is the nicest guy you'd ever want to meet. Great staff and atmosphere.

I thought a dishonest employee at this location took advantage of me when I did not finalize the transaction on their Square POS system and gave themselves an $11 tip for selling me a bag of coffee. When I reached out to the management I was put in direct contact with the owner and he assured me it was an honest mistake. This is why locally owned small businesses are SO MUCH BETTER than big box stores or online retailers like Amazon. Will support Dave and his company in future!

This is easily the best roaster in C'ville. They provide a range of beans -- light, medium, dark -- and all the baristas are well-trained. Plenty of space, good music, and friendly staff. Tons of Pros, but there's a Con: internet fast as molasses. This place would be *perfect* if they upgraded the wifi...

Spacious, yet homey interior with plenty of workspace. I had a delicious iced chai, however the coffee is a tad expensive. Great spot to hang out and get some work done!

I'm a huge fan of coffee and have gotten really picky with my tastes. This place is my favorite in Charlottesville. I come here plenty every time I visit. Also the atmosphere and staff have always been great!

We were visiting Charlottesville for the weekend and a friend suggested Shenandoah Joe's for coffee in the morning.

Favorite coffee shop in C'ville. Spacious seating to get work done or just chat as specialty coffee aromas fill the air. One needed improvement, get onboard with coconut and oat milk trends.
