I was very surprised that they had guts to make fun of my friend for ordering a smoothie here. It's interesting how they thought it would be a great idea to mock their customer for his choice.

One of my friends does not drink coffee but he came with us anyway so we could spend time together. If you don't want people to order smoothie, take it off from your menu. No one deserves to be insulted like that for ordering what you offer.

I love love love this place. The coffee is amazing, bakeries are great, the whole vibe is relaxing. I would come in again to work with my laptop or just read a good book.

This place simply delivers a fantastic product. Time and time again I've been impressed with the coffee they have recommended, but I would say my particular favourite is the mocha as it blends a warm, cold winters day sort of hot coco with a wonderfully background taste of coffee to create the perfect drink for a rainy, productive day inside. TLDR: Come for the coffee, again and again.

Best coffee in Cville. Nicest people. Ashleigh makes the best coffee art, and knows all her customers! Impressive place, service and coffee! I go for the traditional cappuccino, and sometime tread myself to an iced mocha. Both are best in class!

The coffee was fine and the first person I encountered was friendly. While we were eating and drinking we were told to put our masks back on. We still had food and drinks in front of us and they expected us to keep our masks on. We complied to the best of our abilities but any time we took our masks down to continue eating and drinking a woman behind the counter kept sending dagger eyes our way. I work at a coffee shop and we would never treat our customers this way. I understand masks are necessary but if a paying customer is enjoying your products in your store why would you treat them with such disrespect? I am disappointed to say the least and not sure if I’ll recommend this place to anyone else.

This is in no way an impartial review. I have been going here for years and years, and plan to keep going for years to come.

I got hooked on this place way back in high school, when I went in and order a mocha, and for the first time I could remember, actually tasted the espresso.

If you want to order a machiatto and not end up with a caramel latte, these are your people.

If you want a tasty source of caffeine in the morning and you do want that caramel latte, they will be more than happy to hook you up.

And for you enthusiasts who are looking to try out a bunch of single source coffees, and buy fresh roasted beans to bring home and explore, this is a great place, with plenty of new coffees rotating through the board.

The one issue here is parking, which can be an exceptional pain when they get busy, but it is worth taking the time and effort to go down a side street and find a place to stash your vehicle.

Service good and so was the coffee. Quiet atmosphere and courteous staff. Masks are asked to be kept on and dropped down just to sip your coffee and then replaced between sips. Spacing and those rules make it one of the safest to visit.

If you are looking for good Joe, look no further! The coffee is consistently the best around. There is a real passion for coffee here and the staff are both friendly and knowledgeable! The new store is looks great! An excellent place to study, work, or just read a great book. I am excited to try the new tasting opportunities - it is a whole new world of coffee!!

Delicious and finely roasted beans, with enough snacks and open seating spaces to make this a very attractive stop for a lazy weekend or empty afternoon. The staff moves quick, and even widely varied orders are always quickly filled. Just be aware that during popular times you may have a hard time finding a spot to park your car or yourself.
