They overcharge ( up to twice whay other shops charge) and also take way too long to make any drink.I ordered 4 shots of espresso over ice so that I could put half-and-half in it and the lady that makes the drinks started arguing with me that I was trying to just get a latte as if I was trying to cheat the system. Finally I just asked for my money back and walked out cause apparently this barista has never heard of a cafe breve over ice which is what that drink is called it's equal parts Espresso to half-and-half usually steamed but can be iced, she even said half and half is still milk which its not and that I needed to be charged for a latte... then need to send their baristas back to class.

This is a great place. Preston Avenue location is roomy and welcoming. Their coffee is outstanding; Dave's Blend is my favorite roast to drink at home. I do wish they were open some evenings, and had one or two more baked goods options that weren't sweet (bagels or rolls).

I unfortunately did not have a good experience. It seemed like everyone was a new hire and did not know how to act or about the menu. When I asked if there were flavors about coffees I was not let know about the huge extra charge so I ended up buying a $6 mediocre coffee that had coffee grinds in it. They also were advertising their smoothies as fresh but then I was let know that they were all purees except for one frozen smoothie.

Large, open environment to get a hot cup of coffee. Free Wifi and comfortable places to sit make for a great place to do work. This is an awesome place to be productive or to lounge!

Beautiful interior. They serve tasty and floral iced coffee. The place was packed and they looked like students and locals, so it must be the place to go. Excited to come back and try the rest of the menu!

Dave roasts the best coffee in town!
Ability to create custom coffee blends is really awesome. He blends a delicious 'Junction Joe' for the restaurant, Junction, in Belmont. He's also been roasting the custom blended 'Cowboy Coffee' for years for my family.
I love stopping in to pick up coffee, it's a great excuse, not that I need done, to get something yummy to sip on!
The the shop itself has an awesome chill vibe where you can just work or chat. The renovations and expansion were done really well.

I love going to this coffee shop. It's better than any other in town. The people that work there are personable and remember me and my order, and you can tell they love being there. I recommend this place to anyone who loves great company, and a delicious cup of joe :)

Their coffee is phenomenal, but that's not the only reason to go back! This place has amazing customer service. I went in there for the first time to buy some beans for a friend. The staff greeted me, seemed genuinely interested in my life, and created an affable and comfortable atmosphere. I went back hours later, and one of the baristas greeted me by name! I was pleasantly surprised that she would remember me after only one visit. Shenandoah Joe's local coffee shop vibe is unparalleled.

This is a really great work space as well as a good coffee place.
There are long tables, counters, a few chairs, and a few round tables which you can use to get your work done. The Wi-Fi is fast enough. I didn't experience any significant lag working online, although you might have trouble gaming. I don't know, as I didn't test that.
The coffee is great, and the Baristas seem to care about the quality of their drinks. On a whim I asked if they could do a heart in the foam instead of the pretty little leaf pattern they generally do and they did that very nicely.
There aren't many snacks available here, but since the emphasis is on a large selection of coffees I think that's fine.
There is a Pokestop stop here as well as several stops and gyms on the same block, so you can get a coffee and walk around topping up on items if need be.
There's only one major complaint I have about this location. Parking is very complicated. Because it's such a nice place to work, you might have to park on the street off to the side because they only have a few spots in the actual lot unless you want to risk parking in the pharmacy spaces next door.
This is very annoying, although I want to note that coffee is good enough that most people consider it a worthwhile price of admission.

Wow - this place has some of the best coffee I have ever had. I would give it six stars if they had a location in Maryland. It is clear they don't burn the beans by roasting too fast like StarSucks does. Huge location with plenty of comfy seating. Highly recommended if you're sick of drinking coffee that is not properly roasted. This place gets it right.
