Had really good bread! I thought the option for sandwich bread was really neat! We had the grilled cheese sandwich and it was the best grilled cheese sandwich I have ever had! The cookie was eh. Not so special. The drinks (alcohol beverages) looked great! Awesome options! I think that this place was good. The atmosphere was fun and I had a great experience!

It was the best sandwich and the bread is phenomenal.. The maple glaze cinnamon roll was absolutely delightful

On the way up I-89 and stopped in. A minute each way off the highway and back on. Artisan sandwiches and breads and real good coffee and cider. Sandwiches worth the price. Cute inside with some drinks, cooler snacks like cheese and salami, some cards, and jams, syrup, etc.

This place is a dream come true. Delicious EVERYTHING. Its one of my favorite places in Vermont. Delicous bread, amazing sandwiches, fantastic sweets and beautiful politics. LOVE LOVE LOVE

A nice little bakery to stop, eat & shop in Middlesex, VT. The sandwiches are freshly made. The breads are delicious. There's a finely tuned beer selection representing Vermont. This bakery shares space with a handmade crafts store and a chocolate shop. Parking is easy. Just a minute on/off I-89. Worth the trip!

I met an elementary/middle school/high school/ adulthood friend at the locale which ended up being a perfect time. We sat at a picnic table In the back. We both had coffee beverages, I had shortbread cookies that I finished this morning, and my friend had a Thanksgiving style turkey sandwich. She mentioned that the bread there is the best. The back area is like a little bitty theme park with empty childlike camp structures all around, and afterwards we both purchased some non food items at red hen as well as each purchased a bottle of beautiful wine alcohol next door at the new place, I think the name of it was Local times 4 or something. An Olde piano was in the foyer between the businesses, and I played the melody Solace by Joplin while waiting for my childhood/youth-hood friend. Was all-around great!

Great local bakery. Our hotel served bread from this bakery and we asked them where they got it from as it was that good and homemade!!! We had to stop on the drive back home to load up! You won't be disappointed as all of the breads and pastries are amazing!! I also attached a pic of the bread used on a sandwich from the hotel restaurant!!

We love their breads. Since it's difficult to buy them in a regular grocery store (very popular with seemingly everyone) due to lack of inventory (others are getting to the loaves before us), we find it best to go directly to the source. Also, I'm a huge fan of their spicy brownies and they don't seem to be sold in the grocery stores. There's just enough cayenne pepper to give them a nice zing without it being overwhelming. Recommend you don't go at lunch time or the place will be mobbed (they also sell paninis, specialty coffees and coffee drinks, quiches and pastries of many kinds--I'm sure there's more but it's all I can think of right now). It's not cheap but well worth it. They've added pizza to their menu but I think that's seasonal (summer), as the wood-fired oven and a tent seating area is outside, behind the main building.

My guilty pleasure! Whenever I’m in the area I stop in for my iced coffee with oat milk and maple. I usually will indulge in one of their pastries as well. I’ve gotten sweet and savory and you can’t go wrong with anything. The staff are friendly and all the tips are donated to local organizations! If you’re in the area and you don’t stop, you’ll be missing out! Oh yeah- they have phenomenal creemees in the summer, but only two flavors (they rotate amazing flavors) so don’t go expecting to get vanilla! ;)
