The cafe is adorable and very relaxing. The west facing front porch is perfect on a nice day. We had three of us for lunch. Excellent Turkey wrap and two falafel wraps. Plus iced tea and an ice cold Heady Topper.
My only small gripe is the value. For instance, the side salad was modest. It’s a hair pricey, but foot traffic is light in Waterbury, so the economics are probably not ideal.
They also have a lot of fun artwork for sale.

Visited October 2019: This place really reminded me of a nice cozy cafe my wife and I visit at home. Excellent customer service, and a nice variety of food (that's fresh!). Took a few pictures (see amusing fridge stickers). We grabbed food and coffee here two mornings on our trip, and really enjoyed this location and the atmosphere.
Coffee options were pretty good as well.

So wonderful! Grilled cheese with apple slices (seriously an amazing combination that I wish was more mainstream), chai latte, and a delicious scone. The staff was kind, and I got a cute painting too. Lovely atmosphere that I will definitely visit again if I’m back in Vermont.

Hands down best breakfast burrito I've ever had! The Banh Mi is superb, the falafel is amazing! I don't think you can find a bad item on the menu. The staff is wonderful and the atmosphere is super relaxing.

Food is all healthy, maybe except for the grilled cheese. I got the protein bowl, very delicious choice! A bit pricey at $10. Charming decor.

The cafe and the little shop in the entry are cute and feel very welcoming when you walk in. Outdoor seating on a little deck that you can access through the shop. There are a couple of tables and a bench just at the entrance where you can sit with dogs (not allowed in our through the shop).
The person working the cafe may have just been having a rough day, but they were abrupt and scathing with some customers, downright rude to others. I didn't hear them speak nicely to one person while we were there.
The coffee was fine; there were bits of egg shell in the egg sandwiches. I wouldn't rush back.

Lovely spot to have a brew and a snack…friendly and happy to be there! Pleasantly surprised they had non diary milk so a big win there

This is what happens every time that we eat at Stowe Street Cafe! This was a chai latte, iced tea, molasses cookie and a falafel wrap. All freshly homemade and oh so yummy! The weather was awesome so Jamie and I sat out under an umbrella, on the deck in the comfy chairs. Perfect.

Ordered breakfast and the food was fabulous. English muffins are best I’ve ever had. We ordered a variety of egg sandwiches with meat and with veggies and everyone was silent with delight!! Will order from here again!!
