The Ideal Dairy

Sandwiches are more like what you can make at home. The “Club Sandwich “ was dry, non-toasted single decker bread with cold bacon made some other day and just plain ham. Not horrible but not a restaurant style sandwich. They get a 3 mainly because their homemade chips were pretty good. The counter service was also quite slow.

My wife and i stayed in Richfield Utah over the 4th of July Holiday. Can't say enough good things about the Ideal Dairy Restaurant and Ice Cream shop. This place is family owned and operated and everything they serve is homemade and delicious. Their homemade Ice Cream is wonderful and their sandwiches are excellent. Staff is very nice and helpful. Love the small town atmosphere of this place.

I eat here, it’s the only place for a bagel sandwich

Had lunch and found a dead fly in my salad. Did not ask for refund or anything. Was told sorry and no refund would be offered. A replacement salad was but I had lost my appetite. The roast beef was was bland and the dill pickle was old and shriveled. This place has been awesome in the past and has great ice cream, but I was a little surprised and disappointed this time.

Brought my daughter and her friend to spend some time together and get some ice cream. Tyson went above and beyond to help the girls choose a flavor. I got the Cookie Monster which was so amazing, might be a new favorite now. He also showed the girls how to punch the straw in the punch bag. He is such a personable person with his guest. There was a cute girl name Brityn that was just as friendly as can be. I would highly recommend coming her to have an amazing experience. Most definitely impressed. Ask for Tyson and say hi if you stop in he will make your experience delightful.

Wow, what a nice find. My only complaint is the menu is impossible to distinguish what is a topping vs a flavor for the shakes. We got a cherry and banana shake, larges. It did seem a bit expensive, but being real ice cream I think and real fruit (vs flavor) it was worth it. Like drinking a fresh soft ice cream, yummy...

I don’t know anywhere else that you can buy punch bags. I like their soft serve the most. The food is “aight,” as they say. Breakfast foods I’ve ordered seemed like things I could make at home if I had the ingredients and the motivation. My daughter spilled some food on the floor but no one yelled at her.

Love this place!! The atmosphere is so cute and fun. The sandwiches are delicious, and the ice cream is some of the best I've had. Any time we're in Richfield, this place is always on our list of "to do's."

My favorite place ever. It's a must whenever I visit Richfield and it's high quality of food and ice cream hasn't changed in my three decades of life.

I love their tigers blood ideal slush and my grandson loves their cotton candy ice cream. 💜
