The Ideal Dairy

Good shakes. Plenty of flavors/fillings in the shake. Paninis are good. No fries or onion ring options. Pretty good "chips" though that is part of a combo. Corn dog, pass...

A little mom and pop deli with sandwiches, soup and Ice cream treats. Our (large, 20+ people) family stopped by for lunch/ice cream. We all got our food quickly and our orders were correct. I had the turkey bacon avocado salad and it was delicious. I would go back just for that.

They always have the friendliest workers and they're bagels are delicious! Great little casual place to bring the whole family for any meal, and top it off with some hard ice cream when you're done!

So good! We've been there a couple times! Though I have to admit some of the flavors are a little too rich and they're sizes are quite large proportions, so I'd try a small on your first time.

This food was amazing and like home made! Generous portions and also a great, fresh salad bar! We barely beat the lunch crowd and it became packed. Easy to see why it's a local favorite.

While visiting town for the Salina Balloon Festival we ate here a few times and had a great experience. They have healthy lunch options which was nice considering the local diner food was a bit heavy. The Ideal Dairy has friendly staff and clean tables. Great selection of desserts as well. We did the drive-thru one day which took a little time but worth it for the fresh food.

I had a sandwich and a strawberry smoothie here. It was surprisingly affordable and delicious. I really liked this place.

If you like ordering paninis that are actually toasted bagels, this is your place. Prices reflect the quality of food.

The absolute worst soft serve ice cream I've ever had in my life. I got a chocolate vanilla twist dipped in chocolate. It smelled like a dairy farm and was almost flavorless. They claimed the lime freeze had fresh lime juice in it but it was clearly a lime flavoring. Definitely won't be going back

I grew up in Richfield when the Ideal Dairy was across from Ashman Elementary School. If I'm ever in town, and they're open, I'm there!
It smells the same as the original when you walk in the door! Even in the new location, the smell takes me back to my childhood!
I always get a slush with ice cream. Can't be beat!
