Peekaboo Canyon Wood Fired Kitchen

This place was amazing! We are upset we don’t live in the area because the breakfast we had here was out of this world! The huevos ranchos were perfectly balanced with a slight kick of spice from the meat and the strata frittata with Hollandaise sauce was perfect! They spend a lot of time making this a quality meal with homemade ketchup, linen napkins, and fresh squeezed orange juice!

With no disrespect to the food available at your average roadside motel, the Peekaboo kitchen delivers the opposite experience to what you might expect, it's fantastic! The food is very good, substantial portions at low prices, well cooked/prepared, a varied and interesting menu and excellent service. Then there are some little touches that make it even more special, such as the lady who sits regally at the entrance greeting guests while her colleague does all the work, appreciate the division of labor

Swindler fries are too good! Not oily and well seasoned. Reasonably priced.
Their hot mess pizza was really good.
Please note that this is a vegan restaurant, if you order cheese based sauce or imitation meat, it might not be that good but all their vegetarian options are amazing tasting.
Also, ask for Gina, she is a great server and will take care of you for sure.

The food was really good. We ordered the caprese insalata, margherita pizza and the garlic parmesan mini bombs (amazing). We sat oustide and the restaurant atmosphere was great. Service was okay, our server was forgetful and forgot our salad and later our beer. Overall though I would go back. Also it is a full vegetarian menu.

Good vegetarian food and beautiful outside area. The incredible burger is weird but tasty. The pizza could've been cooked a little longer, but I liked it anyway.

The food was fantastic! The music was really good too. It is really pleasant on the patio area. There are a lot of vegetarian and vegan options.

Lovely spot for dinner. It was really nice to find somewhere with a really good vegetarian menu. Sat inside, but outside would have been fine during the evening with the patio heaters available. Good food and beer, nice surroundings with attentive staff, what’s not to like. Great job!

Wow! Delicious! Had the lunch special. Salad was fresh and crispy. 8" pizza was a work of art. Garlic Parm bombs was a great appetizer. Definitely recommend.

Had the Grand Burger with the Beyond patty. It was absolutely delicious, juicy, melts in your mouth, perfectly seasoned garlic sauce and those roasted jalapeños added a perfect amount of spice. Probably the best food we had on our three week trip so far, drove back to our hotel very, very happy.

I was traveling alone and had a hard time finding somewhere open to eat in town. I stopped at this place because of the great reviews and the fact that it was actually open. I was seated and came in contact with 3 waiters and watched as other people were seated and ordered. I was given a menu and I waited to order. I waited about 15 mins before finally asking a waiter if I could place an order and get some water. He immediately asked me who seated me. I told him who had seated me and he started walking away. He said he’d get me water and I asked if I could just order since I knew what I wanted. He said no and walked away. I got up and left and ended up at McDonald’s.
