Review of Nightlight Donuts & Coffee

Nightlight Donuts & Coffee is a local donut and coffee shop that has been serving the Woodway community for several years. The shop is open seven days a week from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, making it a convenient spot for a quick breakfast or a late-night snack.

The shop offers a variety of donuts, including unique and seasonal flavors. Customers rave about the croissant donuts, which have a light and flaky texture. The donut holes are also a popular choice and offer great value for money. In addition to donuts, the shop serves coffee and other beverages. The iced mocha latte with oat milk is a customer favorite and is considered the best in town.

The atmosphere of the shop is fun and inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, some customers have mentioned that the service can be slow at times. The prices at Nightlight Donuts & Coffee are a bit higher than other local donut shops, but customers feel that the quality of the donuts justifies the cost.

I truly have never had a better croissant donut in my life. So incredibly delicious and will leave you wanting more for weeks! 10/10 staff! Overall wonderful experience. I don’t live in Waco so I ALWAYS have to pick some up when I drive through. Nightlight PLEASE open up in Houston! We are waiting!

Sincerely, your biggest H town fan

Delightful! They do such a good job. Please understand that these donuts are much more difficult to make than traditional donuts — croissant layers take time. Please ignore reviews that have docked stars because of the higher price - you can always go to Shipley’s or Dunkin if you feel like cheaper, mass-produced donuts.

I love Nightlight Donuts and the employees that work there. I love the light, airy cronut over standard donuts.Glazed is my favorite. The people are friendly and pleasant without being overly so or fake. I enjoy every visit to Nightlight!

Wife and I came here after a meal at Di Campli for coffee and dessert....best idea ever. Great coffee with espresso shots and a latte for the wife. Great service, loved the folks working there. Donuts were the best I've had in some time. Will be at their door next Saturday as well. Were it nhi it for the fact we live 40 miles from Waco, this would be a daily haunt and I'd 40 pounds heavier.

Not my usual spot but I gave them another try. Donuts have been good and unique style, but their coffee is not impressive. This is my third time here and probably the worst coffee so far quite horrid. Poured it out before I left the drive through line.

This is my first time visiting. I like the open setup. The doughnuts are very good. I did not order coffee but I have heard that coffee is really the specialty. I thought my husband might faint when I ordered a half dozen doughnuts for myself 😂. For one, he ordered doughnut holes and for two, it's $15 for a half dozen. My only drawbacks about the place are the price and they don't have orange juice. Don't ask because they give you a very strange look. BTW I didn't eat 6 doughnuts. I gave them to his co-workers. They loved them 💝

The Donuts have always been delicious, however, this morning when we arrived at 6:15, no donuts were available because they were still warming up their fryers. Coffee was offered, but no time frame as to when donuts might be available. If you are going to open at 6:00 a.m. you might want to have your full menu available.

One of the best donuts I've ever eaten. My family and I came in from Austin to watch the Texas Longhorns play the Baylor Bears. Somehow we ended up at this establishment, by the sheer grace of a universal spirit, guiding us to the promise land. When I took my first bite of the glazed with Baylor Bear (I'm a longhorn fan) colored sprinkles, I was floored. Despite the color of the sprinkles burning my soul after the Longhorn loss to the Bears today, the taste and texture of these donuts, cured my wounded heart. The woman at the register was an angel from heaven, and a sweetheart. I will be longing till the next time I'm in Waco, and can experience this bliss once again.

As a donut Connoisseur, ex police officer, these donuts had excellent taste, texture and glaze. However, they were cold. Not what I expected for arriving at an early hour in the morning to find no waiting in line. I had chocolate glazed, which I expected to be cold as they usually are, but also the glazed. I felt like I was eating yesterday's fare, they were so cold. For an establishment that has excellent service and friendly personnel, I left excited with my bags of sugarery confections, to be let down on discovering the lack of warm, melt in your mouth goodness. Maybe I caught them on an off morning. Will try again.

The croissant style donuts are so unique! They were so flaky which I loved and tasted so yummy! The chocolate was my favorite. The donuts are a little pricey, but definitely worth trying if you're in Waco.
