Nightlight Donuts & Coffee
Review of Nightlight Donuts & Coffee
Nightlight Donuts & Coffee is a local donut and coffee shop that has been serving the Woodway community for several years. The shop is open seven days a week from 6:00 am to 10:00 pm, making it a convenient spot for a quick breakfast or a late-night snack.
The shop offers a variety of donuts, including unique and seasonal flavors. Customers rave about the croissant donuts, which have a light and flaky texture. The donut holes are also a popular choice and offer great value for money. In addition to donuts, the shop serves coffee and other beverages. The iced mocha latte with oat milk is a customer favorite and is considered the best in town.
The atmosphere of the shop is fun and inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, some customers have mentioned that the service can be slow at times. The prices at Nightlight Donuts & Coffee are a bit higher than other local donut shops, but customers feel that the quality of the donuts justifies the cost.
Overall, Nightlight Donuts & Coffee is a great spot for donut lovers looking for unique and delicious flavors. The shop's convenient hours and friendly staff make it a popular choice for locals and visitors alike. Super good donuts and the coffee is delicious too! I would recommend the cinnamon sugar donut holes and iced mocha! The atmosphere is very chill and relaxing.

I tried to get a cinnamon roll and I asked him without frosting and he said the cinnamon roll was croissant cinnamon roll anyways it had frosting and they microwaved it so it was terribly chewy and it was $4 for one donut

To paraphrase Barney from "The Simpsons": "Three dollars for a donut? This better be the best donut ever ...(eat) ... you got lucky." You'll never go back to non-croissant-based donuts.

So these are cronuts (croissant-doughnut). They are tasty for sure. If you’re thinking it’s a regular donut experience then you’ll be surprised to see the price at $3 per donut. But remember it’s a cronut, which does yield a bigger price tag. If you want a quality pastry then the price doesn’t really surprise you. If you’re wanting a dozen cronuts to take to the office, these will be a treat; but at $30 a dozen I wouldn’t think it’s an every Monday affair.
Wish these guys the best of luck, hoping Waco can be a good market for them.

Nightlight donuts has the potential to be great, but their product is inconsistent & their customer service is lacking. Their original food truck product was very consistent. However, since they’ve opened their storefront, the donuts have become very inconsistent. If I go late at night, I can tell I’m getting donuts that are hours old. They’re noticeably different than if I go early in the morning. It’s disappointing because their business is branded (and it’s in the name) for their late night donuts. It’s sad that the quality is only best at specific times of day.
I recently had a mistake on my order that I didn’t realize till I got home. I reached out to them to ask simply for a refund for the missing item. I didn’t receive an apology, and the person who interacted with me acted like I was inconveniencing them by asking for a refund on an item I paid for but didn’t receive. I’m a Waco local, and I love when food trucks and local businesses get to grow into larger stores, etc, but it’s a shame that nightlight hasn’t been able to maintain their quality with their growth. Hopefully this will change in the future!

Absolutely amazing and addictive! Get the glazed holes! They melt in your mouth and the glaze is perfection.

We went to try this new donut place, always seen it driving around but decided to try it out today. first thing we noticed is, the prices. WAY too overpriced just for pastries. a dozen for 30? i can get a couple boxes of dozen donuts for that price somewhere else. so we settled for half a dozen, and was so disappointed when i opened the box. they weren’t fresh as if they’d been sitting around for hours or all day. they looked awful and aren’t even real donuts. they’re just circular croissants with icing on top. didn’t taste good either. i’m going to stay going to my local donut shop where it’s MUCH better tasting and WAY more affordable. a bag of donut holes is $5 for 5 donut holes but at my local shop it’s a dollar for around 10 holes. do better.

Love my favorite donut and coffee place in Waco! Maple donut is my favorite but my husband loves the donut holes and kolaches and my kids love lots of different flavors. Wonderful staff and great coffee too.
