Nightlight Donuts & Coffee

I don't normally give a negative review, but $30 for a dozen glazed donuts is outrageous! The coffee size is also incredibly small and I payed almost $5 for it. I visited their farmers market location when they were about to close and they tried to charge me the same price for donuts that had been sitting out all morning. In my opinion, this is NOT a place to take the family if you want a sweet treat and you're on any kind of budget. Y'all need to lower your prices, plain and simple!

A different take that elevates a normal donut to a great tasting experience. Friendly people too which is great for customer service. The loyalty program is awesome as I had 2 bags of donut holes which is 10 huge donut holes and 2 fruity pebble donuts for 9$.

Nice locally-owned doughnut shop that's open into the night. The croissant-donuts are tasty, but do cost more than standard donuts. I've only had one thing from their coffee bar, but it was good. The online ordering seemed to work well too, which isn't always the case with local places.

I’ve been a huge fan of nightlight since their trucks came to the Baylor campus. I was very excited to visit the storefront with my sister when she flew in from out of town, but at 11am on a weekday, they were out of glazed, cinnamon, and chocolate donuts for the day. How can you open for another 12 hours with only donut holes? Our $5 donut holes were stale. I could justify the prices by making Nightlight an occasional treat, but now I’m not sure it’s worth the trip.

UPDATE: I gave Nightlight another chance. I picked up 1 bag of (6) donut holes for a sick friend but after driving off, I noticed there were only 5 in the bag and 2 of them weren’t even glazed!! Paying $1/donut hole and didn’t even get the correct quantity. I give up.

We heard raving reviews from friends so we tried it out tonight. We ordered 4 donuts, a sweet tea, and a lemonade. I knew from others it was a little more pricey so the money didn’t surprise me, but I was expecting the donuts to wow me more and they didn’t. They were good, don’t get me wrong, but for that price I was expecting more. I did enjoy the sweet tea and lemonade. It was different but not in a bad way. I also enjoyed the reusable cup that they put the drinks in.

We got a donut and coffee the lip on the top of coffee cup was deformed so the lid would not go on the cup. The lid came off the cup burning my hand and causing a blister. When I called to point it out they said yes we have been having trouble with our cups come by for some free food. I went by and asked for a refund she said she would look for the receipt and issue a refund, well we paid cash. She then said come by the store and pick up refund when I went to the store they wanted the whole story all over again. Don’t get the coffee unless you want to get burned and or wear coffee the rest of the day.

I'm not what you would call a donut croissant connoisseur but this place isn't your Dunkin Donuts so you are going to pay a lot more so you are going to expect more. Well, here, you get it. So tasty and yummy. The coffee was super hot and with that freshly made taste as well. A great selection of donut croissant favors. The stop to satisfy you sweet needs tooth!

I had the donut holes and regular glazed donut and wow I am impressed! Its not the typical donut shops because their donuts are crispy and the batter and taste are amazing! Melts in your mouth deliciousness and my favorite preferred donut shop! I recommend to others who wants to try a new spin to the typical donut.
