Yesterday, I met my husband for a refreshment, he was sitting directly from the counter. He was drinking a beer. I took my seat across from him, in eye view of the many people behind the counter, it was not busy at all. No one offered to serve me or ask me “how can I help” you.
I was so disappointed that no one was observant to notice my presence. I don’t think we want to be back, it was only our 2nd visit. Customer Service is extremely important and should be the priority of your business. Thank you

Great drink options and knowledgeable bartenders. Wish they had more options for substantial food, but just pastry or snacks.

Absolutely love the space, amazing concept to serve as bar and coffee shop in one space. The roof deck is definitely a cool feature to have that distinguishes this coffee/bar place to other coffee shops in Waco. Big and accommodating, definitely did not feel overcrowded because it's so roomy and comfortable. Coffee was good and barista was very friendly, looking forward to visiting again and try other drinks in the menu. Location is great, right in the middle of downtown and just a walk away from other popular places in Waco. Decent parking and street parking available. Very important, they have clean bathrooms. While the coffee shop is roomy and accommodating, I don't think that customers who use wheelchairs can access the roof deck because there is no elevator to go up only stairs.

First, the fact that my coffee was prepared at a perfect temp, already won me over! These guys know their craft.
Second, the knowledge the cashier had at explaining the taste/notes in the fall drink I chose, was much appreciated. And her customer service was genuine and kind. Also, you can’t help but notice the great fashion style they carry! Kudos!
The pumpkin cream cheese muffin was delicious. Try any of their baked goods.
The atmosphere was one I can appreciate because there is a space for those who come to socialize and for those who come to cram some studying. I haven’t tried the bar yet, but I’m sure you’ll be satisfied.
Definitely one of my favorite spots in Waco!

CocoNutty Latte...it's Pitch Perfect.. the savory sweet blend with breve milk perfectly streamed and frothed.

If you're not from Waco, you'll be used to the prices... they're big city expensive. Unfortunately, you're not getting much for those prices - smaller coffee sizes and muffins about 1/3 the size you're used to. They taste... well... ordinary. Hipster Fair Trade Organic Made By Genies, this is not.
Come for a place to sit and work, though - they do that well.

Nice relaxing atmosphere. Have a dimly lit inside with an upclass feel for the area. Also has a nice patio upstairs cooled with fans. Drinks are more pricey than others but if you're coming here you are probably not looking for a beer off a factory line.

What a delicious place. The bartenders Chris and Lauren were so fun and cute. My sisters and I couldn’t get enough of this place. The roof was so nice and quiet. Such a good experience and the cocktails one of a kind. Coffee good cocktails we had to come back for again.

Cool concept with the coffee shop and cocktail bar in one space.

We stopped in here in the morning on a trip down to Austin for a couple cappuccinos to go. The atmosphere clean and welcoming. Several people were already set up at tables studying or visiting.

The coffee itself was good, not exceptional. Far better than anything at Starbucks but not quite on par with the top coffee shops in Dallas.

They had some interesting coffee combinations that I would definitely return to try, such as espresso mixed with Dr. Pepper.

Overall, Dichotomy is certainly worth a try if you are searching for a coffee shop in Waco and it's not a far detour off the highway is you're just passing through.

Delicious coffee. Kind staff. Flavor varieties that change with the seasonal food varieties. Had more than just coffee as well. Only thing that would've made it better is a bigger size.
